He didn't want to play there to begin with until his agent told him to shut
up and pretend he's cool with it.

Is anyone actually surprised that he's unhappy there?

Ron "Record Deal" Artest is simply not cut out to live in Cow Town.

The Magoofs were fools to trade for that guy. He told them in advance he didn't want to play there, lol. Maybe they're trying to kill off their fan support so they can move the team to Vegas more easily.

Ron wanted to go to a playoff team. Not to cow town with a bunch of heartless losers. If he's unhappy to just be in the NBA that just shows how unstable he is though. Sac hates LA though they're never going to deal him to us unless we overpay.

I'm sure the kings would be real excited to trade him to the lakers - a division rival whom we have lots of animosity with. Unless Artest comes out and publicly states he will only play for the Lakers or walk after his contract expires, the Lakers will never acquire him in a trade.

I said it when he got traded and my stance hasn't changed.

Artest to Sacramento = Merry Christmas to me!

Suck it, Queens.

Yeah really.
I'd hate to play for that team too and I'm not even in the NBA.

Doesn't take a genius to realize that this would happen. This guy is Queens through and through. He may be able to put up with living in LA, but living in Cowtown is killing him. Even CWebb hated the fact that there was a lack of culture, and he put up with it. Now you have a guy who loves the hustle and bustle of NYC, in a small town on the west coast?? Fuhgeddaboudit!

because Bibby looks like a Farm Boy.

Anyways if Artest really hates it in Sacramento, he doesn't need to demand a trade. All he has to do is pull a Alonzo and ask for a Buy-out. That way we can just offer him what's left of our 2.5 mill exception. OH YA!

That was the trade I suggested back when Artest was first traded. The question is, can Artest be traded along with another player or is there some limitation? If its for a single player, and he really wants to leave, we might be in the ball game. There aren't many good players available in the 7mil range. Kwame + pick anyone? I'm dreaming, I know. Someone let me know if he can even be traded in a package before the deadline.

I saw him on ESPN's Sunday Conversation and Artest said he was happy with the Kings.

I think it's just wishful thinking that Artest would want to play in LA.

He wanted to be in L.A. so friggin bad that he even rented an apartment here. I actually feel bad for the guy.

At least we know he won't re-sign there.

That would be sweet if they pick him up in the offseason without having to trade Odom or bynum.

At least their defense is a little better...

Hopefully they're able to get on some sort of a "pride-based" run and beat up all the rest of the teams, except for the Lakers, to help the Lakers out a little bit...
