I think Utah will give us a hell of a game for the chance to take over.
If we lose, we'll be out of the playoffs. Utah will get the 8th seed.
I don't mean to be negative, but if the Lakers cannot learn from their mistakes.
It will be the same result as what happened against Memphis.

Lets just stop AK from having a quintuple double, then maybe we can win.

Kobe needs to be in scoring mode tonight. But not just in scoring mode but effiecent scoring mode. He has been struggling from the field as of late, but if we can get the team to play like they did against Memphis we could easily beat them.

I just want him taking it to the bucket, getting people in foul trouble, and him finding his rhythm early by getting to the foul line.

It would be nice but he is not getting the fouls called on him as of recently!!!

My thoughts exactly.

If we get of early and keep them behind by 10 for the majority of the game, we should have no problems.

If we keep it close, we have a 50/50 chance.

If we get off to a slow start, we're finished.

My god!! Kobe is averaging 11 FTA per game. D-WADE, everyone's favorite "this is how Kobe should play" guy at the moment, is averaging ONLY 10.7 FTs. Kobe's body can't take this kind of beating. He'll break down.

Ok , maybe what i should have said, is i want him taking it to the bucket, to get higher percentage shots, little pull ups and so forth. I know he gets to the line more than anyone, but I don't wanna see another 3-11 3FG night. rather a 2-5

We can win on any given night. But "will we win" is a different question. It takes either Kobe have a great shooting night or the rest of the team have a collective good outing.

Mihm will not play till after the allstar game.

We certantly should......But...........

Utah will be tough, and not give you anything.I hope Cook can stay out of foul trouble and help in opening up the court for Kobe, giving KObe that extra breathing room........If he is not going to play at least near those two 28 & 27 point efforts I am afraid the triples and extra traps will be coming Kobes way...........

With Cook attached to Kobes waist the Utah "D" will be stretched, and KObe may only see doubles half the time, and actually get some 1 on 1 coverage, instead of those triples, doubles and traps........It's actually crucial Cook stays on the court with KObe most of the time......

The team has to play better overall "D".....Start holding these opponents down to the lower 90's,it's all about effort & hustle........And no more of these allowing 30+ 1st periods.......

Also Kobe is what he is.....a strike mode, attacking scoring machine"...........Allow him to be just that, dont let the opposing teams get just what they want by making him into a "Decoy".......and making him get rid of the ball.......

He must also be in attack mode first and foremost.......Right from the get go,no more of this 7 shot first halfs, with 3 or 4 of them coming only because the shot clock is down low.........

Sure play within the system, pass out of the doubles, pick and choose his times for attacking, run the offense, keep them on there toes, let them know that when they double and triple they can get burned by passing out of these traps, but for the most part, attack Kobe, think score first, with this mentality,he has a better chance of hitting his shots, the % will grow............If he thinks pass first,as he has lately, you can see the efficient % go down in shot %.......

I hope Lamar can get back to scoring in double figures again,I give him credit for playing injured as he has been........I hope to see those 15,9 and 6 games from him........

Kwame hopefully can build from his last outing,or at least get us a near double double with 10 and 9 or so......

I hope Mihm will be back strong enough,if not at least than after the All-star break next week.....

And I hope to see george in there for at least 25+ minutes,he adds a whole lot of those intangibles....

Ok then.......Go Lakers......

Just play good defense throughout the entire game and you should be able to beat this team. Realistically speaking, they're not very good.

Can we be considered "out of the playoffs" with plus 30 games left?

Wow!!! That's really something.

I sure hope we win. That must mean we're in the playoffs. Cool!!!

Go Lakers!
