Harden - Sixth Man of the Year (Year 3)
George - Most Improved Player (Year 3)
Curry - 1st Team All Rookie
Kawhi - 1st Team All Rookie
Klay - 1st Team All Rookie

None of our recent young guys - DLo, Randle, BI have shown that. Zo & Kuz are still in year 2, so maybe they have a shot. A loooooooooooooong shot.

Kuzma - 1st Team All Rookie
Randle did not qualify for the All Rookie team due to playing 1 game before his injury
Clarkson - 1st Team All Rookie (drafted same year as Randle)

However using the all rookie team to judge talent/impact is useless as there are many players who are now considered meh despite their 1st team selection.

*I gave Kuz a pass (if you re-read).

*Randle is what he is: hurt/fat/lazy/balls-out-in-contract-years

*Clarkson? You're whining about Clarkson? He's the same age as Kyrie -I don't count that as "young core."

LOL

Yeah, it sounds like Magic there.

How is Randle hurt/fat/lazy?

The guy played all 82 games last season for us, 74 the previous season and 81 the one before that. This year he's played 52 out of 59 for the Pelicans. If you exclude his rookie season, where he had a freak injury, he's played 289 out of possible 305 games in his career.

This year he's averaging a solid 20/9 with a much improved 3 point shot on 13 shots per game. That's the same ammount of shots Ingram takes per game, and 2 less than Kuzma. Both average less ppg than him (and half the rebounds).

Man can't wait until he's back.

Such an important glue player. He's the Draymond Green of PGs.

Yeah. Doubt he comes back. And if he does it won’t be full strength. I can see him subbing in for Rondo in the playoffs, tucking his jersey in, the crowd cheering. Tanter, “Looooonzoooo Ball.” 😝

yes they do. and they live normally outside of selling stuff when they pop up. and the boys are not doing the selling. other people are. so all they do is play basketball and chill. ball and chill...ball and chill. zo makes half hearted raps that take all of 10 mins to write. not groundbreaking or time consuming.

Shaq rapped and was trying to become a better rapper. no matter how you felt about his skills you had to admit he was improving album after album. he put in serious thought into his songs. That takes a lot of time. making some songs in the comfort of your friends home or your own using software on a laptop is not the same as going to a big studio spending hours upon hours.

He kinda can okie doke the Lakers and LeBron by not coming back. With that Instagram story after the trade rumors it seems that he took it personal.

Honestly, I don't care anyway since I doubt we the make playoffs regardless.

He posted a pic walking in to the training facility. Looks like he is walking with no brace and has his work out sneakers in his hands like he is going to be doing something in his feet. Hard to see the left ankle well in the photo though. Was it left or right ankle?

Lebron was said to have had no tear of the groin and would be day to day. That ended up being 17 games missed and even then he came back semi early. I don't trust our medical staff's timelines for injury return. Most everywhere I've read says grade 3 sprain takes 12-16 weeks.

I think 6 weeks is the earliest he comes back but in fairness, didn’t Ingram and Rondo come back within or before the timeline given by the medical staff? Lonzo would likely be treated like those guys, not Bron.

I'm hoping late March is when he's back, but we may be out of the playoff race by then (hopefully not).

I expect the Kings and Clippers to falter so I think we can still make the playoffs if he comes back then. If he gets back within the first week of March, I think we can sneak into the 7 seed. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a big gap between the 7 and 8 seed.

Honestly ankle injury's are no joke, but as long he did good on his rehab I'm sure he'll be ready to go pretty soon.
He's very young it's not like he's 35 years old.
