So one prevalent theory regarding Lonzo’s defense was that he simply wasn’t healthy to start the year (as evidenced by his minutes restriction) and might get better as he got healthy. Data backs this up, too.

October DRTG: 113.1
November DRTG: 104.1
December DTRG: 101.9

His steal rate and block rate have also gone up each month.
Now we need the 3 ball to come back around.

His 3 ball will come around.

Zo just need to stop being cute around the rim. He’s looking like Fish on layups and Kwame around the rim. Dunks baby.

Can’t get more special than most wins in the season and 4 out of 5 titles. We don’t have to like it but we should respect it.

This. Plus shooting on the road. The difference between his %s at home and on the road is too high of a variance for a player of his ability.

I have no respect for those cowards, especially super coward Durant. They have won 3 of the last 4, but the Cavs were robbed of game 1 in the 2015 NBA finals or they would have went up 3-0 (and won imo) despite the Love/Kyrie injuries. I am so glad that Lebron owned them in 2016, but instead of acting like actual Warriors they were texting Durant in the parking lot afterwards asking for "moarrrr help".

Even last year the refs robbed game 1 from the Cavs when Lebron nearly had a 50 point triple double. Not that I think the Cavs would have won the series last year, but how much more help does a 73 win team need? The They need the refs and Durant? The refs don't need to be stealing games for them. They also stole the WCF away from the Rockets and gave it to the Warriors. What a joke. I think they fail to 3 peat this year and break up right after that.

The Warriors simply are the greatest collection of talent ever assembled aided by really biased refs. They win because of their overwhelming talent advantage since adding Durant. They have no heart and wilt when facing adversity (aside from Green). They don't even need the refs anymore to win, but the refs are still in their pocket for some reason.

Do people really think the Warriors are a shoe-in this year? I did coming in, but now I think its anybody's game. I could see the Raptors, Celtics, Warriors, Lakers and Bucks all winnings. Maybe even the Sixers if they got on a heater.

My moneys on GSW. The next favorite still has to be Boston. Obviously I pray Boston doesnt win it tho. They will be a force come playoff time and Toronto will not beat them. Not with Lowry on the roster
Us and the Bucks have zero chance (as currently constructed)

I agree except I wouldn’t put the Bucks in that group yet. They will probably be able to contend next year with some experience but not this year.

I'd take a championship over the bolded any day. The players on that team would too. They've said as much.
6 titles for a franchise is cute. We won our 6th chip 2 decades before I was born.

I’ll answer this question after Cousins returns to the court. If he’s 80% of his former self, only a collection of injuries can prevent a three peat.

Only way I see them losing in the playoffs is if Curry, Durant, or Draymond is injured.

The thing w/ the Warriors is, if they make it to the finals, they're winning it. Only way they lose is if they show up all lackadaisical in the playoffs.

But, if they've made it all the way to the finals, that means theiy're on their game and I don't see them losing once they get there.

If they lose, it's either going to be in the 2nd rd of the West or the West Conference Finals.

They won't lose in the finals, I don't see that. Once they get to the finals, they are too close to their goal to let it slip away (4 out of 5 titles).

So Celtics, Raptors, Sixers, Bucks, I don't see any of those teams beating the Warriors in the finals.

With the exception of one blow by, Zo has done a good job on Harden. don't know why we force Hart onto him, who simply cannot handle him.

He's Andre Roberson if Roberson took 3s.

Like, it's ridiculous how horrendous he is at shooting.

I've honestly never seen someone not even make a shot by accident.

Like dude, all your 3s are wide open. At least accidentally bank one in.

To be fair, he creates open lanes for LeBron and that's why LeBron's shooting 11-15 this game. Most of that is due to the gravity that Lonzo draws.

Were they the Open (4-6 ft) or the Wide Open (6ft +) variety?

Because he's a deadly shooter when Wide Open (6ft+) vs. just merely being Open (4-6 ft)
