if Rose would take a paycut I wouldn't mind signing him as backup point guard here.
I think Jeff Teague is a bigger possibility though. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I rather have Rose over Teague based on talent, Teague isn't really making a impact with Indiana, at least Rose has the talent. |

We'll see how he feels when it time to sign on the dotted line, I doubt he'll be as charitable. _________________ *sighs*

Rose is having a huge impact in New York. |

Don't blame Rose with the stupidity of New York and there obsession with a broken down system. |

Stay away with a 10 mile radius. Derrick Rose as a starting PG in 2017 is not going to make you a championship team (or anywhere remotely close to the playoffs). |

Of course you don't overpay Rose, but if you can get
him at a reduced discount he will be a upgrade, I mean would you rather have Rondo or Rose? |

you think Teague would come to the Lakers to backup a young guy? Indy is going to pay Teague to be their starter.....and if they do not, someone will. |

Why should we go after another washed up player? Isn't Mozgov and Deng enough? |

He is really not the kind of guard we need, Dlo is our scoring guard. |

Rose is kinda of a slacker. He's not going to be a big difference maker.
Our priority should be a way out of Deng and Moz, while trying to
pry George or Hayward to the Lakers... _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team ! |

I mean, if he doesn't care about money, then why not? IF we get rose and Blake Griffin, we will have a respectable squad with lonzo. then trade dlo and picks for PG13.
jk, but thoughts? |
1. He cares about money; he just might be accepting that he won't get the max. I think he's thinking about settling for $15 million plus.
2. If he prioritizes winning, why would be come here? You don't sacrifice money to come to a 20-win team that is years away from contending. |
