Ok, Magic needs to work some magic and do what he can to get Larry Sanders in a Lakers uniform.

Larry is 6'11-220lbs-28 years old and is a force defensively inside the paint. He's capable of putting up adequate numbers for this team. Larry would put a good foundational piece for the Lakers heading into the future.
He's a free agent and able to sign with any team and if his head is in the right place, it's definitely a move we need to make.

He makes the team more attractive for next year's free agency. I like how we look on paper and if the Lakers choose to stay with this young core, I'm sure it will pan out.
Vets like Deng, Young and Mozgov will ultimately become leverage in a trade when trying to land an All-Star player, the team will thin out and role players will be added. But if we were to land PG in the upcoming off-season we'd look pretty solid.

Russell + PG + Ingram + Randle + Sanders

That's a nice starting 5 unit, that could shake some things up and the front court is decent defensively.

Magic, please do this deal we have nothing to lose and everything to gain signing Larry Sanders, get him in if we can.
