I didn’t see it and can’t really comment on the seller’s intent, or who the seller even is. Just providing some factual information that may or may not be relevant.

Yeah, it certainly references the game. Is that someone capitalizing on the crossover? Maybe. But they also sell paper with the silhouette of a guy pooping for the same price.

GOP: Can't we get along, now? Forget our transgressions and selfish behaviors of the recent past.

Dems: Sure, but there has to be accountability.

Quote:
On video, Bisgnano states “…Gina’s Beverly Hills…Everybody, we need gas masks…we need weapons...we need strong, angry patriots to help our boys. They don’t want to leave. We need protection.” The documents say that while she's speaking, other rioters nearby can be seen assaulting police officers. Seconds after she calls for strong, angry patriots, one individual begins striking at officers in the police line with what appears to be a baseball bat, documents say.

Their new tactic is gaslighting to cover for their previous gaslighting.

Query; If he's impeached and convicted can he hold State, City, County, lesser government offices?

Here's an article you might want to read that covers what could be done and how. It does not go into lesser government jobs, but I think Trump's silver spoon would prevent him from stooping so low.

I understand impeachment alone wouldn't bar him from running and remove the perks. I'm asking about impeachment and conviction.

SIDE NOTE: It's a lot easier to listen to the news these days. Not much about Trump. It's more and more about the new day and how we're going to approach it.

By the By I'm still wishing for the honeymoon.

Impeachment -and- conviction is also necessary but insufficient.

Following conviction, there would be a follow-up vote whether to disqualify him from further office. This one requires a simple majority.

From the article:
Quote:
4) Even a Senate vote to remove Trump would not prohibit him from running in 2024; for the Senate to ban him from the presidency, it would have to hold an additional vote on this question.

There is some disagreement that an impeachment conviction must precede the additional vote to deprive Trump of his post presidency perks or eligibility status, but I would not place too much weight on this view.

Why would you even LIE!? How dumb do you have to be not to realize there's no way that wasn't going to be discovered. It makes even less sense when his reality is already one with a very distinguished career.

WSJ: Trump Pressed Justice Department to Go Directly to Supreme Court to Overturn Election Results

Quote:
In his last weeks in office, former President Donald Trump considered moving to replace the acting attorney general with another official ready to pursue unsubstantiated claims of election fraud, and he pushed the Justice Department to ask the Supreme Court to invalidate President Biden’s victory, people familiar with the matter said.

Those efforts failed due to pushback from his own appointees in the Justice Department, who refused to file what they viewed as a legally baseless lawsuit in the Supreme Court. Later, other senior department officials threatened to resign en masse should Mr. Trump fire then-acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen, according to several people familiar with the discussions.

Senior department officials, including Mr. Rosen, former Attorney General William Barr and former acting Solicitor General Jeffrey Wall refused to file the Supreme Court case, concluding that there was no basis to challenge the election outcome and that the federal government had no legal interest in whether Mr. Trump or Mr. Biden won the presidency, some of these people said. White House Counsel Pat Cipollone and his deputy, Patrick Philbin, also opposed Mr. Trump’s idea, which was promoted by his outside attorneys, these people said.

“He wanted us, the United States, to sue one or more of the states directly in the Supreme Court,” a former administration official said. “The pressure got really intense” after a lawsuit Texas filed in the Supreme Court against four states Mr. Biden won was dismissed on Dec. 11, the official said. An outside lawyer working for Mr. Trump drafted a brief the then-president wanted the Justice Department to file, people familiar with the matter said, but officials refused.

Arizona GOP censures Flake, Ducey and McCain, signaling a fractured party in a key swing state

What did Ducey do, you may ask? After all, he voted for Trump in 2020. It's because he certified the election results -- i.e., followed the law.
