Rockets were missing bad when he was contesting their 3s. He is elite at that.

Btw was it only me or did anyone else notice a few BI and LBJ pick and rolls today? I've been wanting this to happen all season. Forces BI to learn how to play off of Bron and reading and reacting to the defense.

I think I may have also saw a double screen with Kuz popping and BI rolling with LeBron coming off of it. Would love to see that action more

would be nice for him to get some national attention rather than be trashed by them everyday as some after thought.

Ingram especially always steps up his efficiency second half of the season

rookie 1st half: 7/4/2 on 35% shooting

rookie 2nd half: 11/4/2 on 44% shooting

Sophomore 1st half: 16/5/3 on 45% shooting

Sophomore 2nd half: 16/5/5 on 50% shooting (44% from 3)

current season 1st half: 16/4/2 on 47% shooting

current season 2nd half so far: 18/6/4 on 50% shooting

He's not going to be happy with being the 3rd or 4th best option on a championship squad.

In the 4th, sprinkled in with his good play, he had that ISO where no one else touched the ball. Clank. Another possession, he ISOed Harden and got stripped in the lane. And another possession, he drove parallel to the baseline and got an offensive foul with an arm swing on Harden (semi flop).

If he gets rid of those moments, I'm all in for him being a #2. Of course he also shot 11-14 from the FT line. And that's not a norm.

Uhh.. that doesn't have anything to do with what I said with all due respect.

I'm saying he doesn't have the mentality of a role player. Clearly he's not a complete package at this stage of his career, or a number 2.

It's also looking like we can put the narrative to rest that he can't play well with Bron.

I"m just going off your #3 and #4 statement. How is my post not related?
If he doesn't tighten up his decision making, I don't think he should be the #2 on a championship team.

I mean obviously he needs to improve in all facets of his game to be a number 2 or 3.. So I don't get what you're trying to say.

Really good game from Ingram. His rebounding was crucial. Luke finally put him on Harden down the stretch and he did an excellent job on him.

Amazing game by BI. Both sides of the court he was great. 13 boards was huge in this game. I just hope he can continue with this and forget about the things from before. Just play your game.

All I was saying was that he doesn't have the mentality of a role player. Nothing more. You pointed out a bunch of negatives, I just didn't see the relevance.

But yea we can enjoy his game. =)

I'm wondering what he can continue to do to get to the stripe about 9 times a game.

Honestly, tonight was the closest thing we've ever come to having that MJ/Pippen type duo effect. Imagine if this is it, if BI can do this every night. Not 27 and 13. Just give us 20 and 10 and tough defense.

I do like this addition to his game. Much better than him running into the defender and attempting to flip the ball up from behind his head.

LeBron is training him well; working the kinks out of his game. BI's issues were always more with decision-making and poor shot selection rather than lack of ability. When he sticks to his strengths and makes the right plays there's nothing stopping him from getting 27/13 every night.

If I were him, I will be shadowing Lebron and picking his mind every chance I have. I will also workout with him. Ingram needs to focus on strengthening and shooting this off season. That will open up his game a lot.

Me too. Bron and Ingram were both great tonight.

I'm a 100% certain BI can and will give us that in every game... he just needs to put on a bit more weight / muscle mass. We need to give it a little more time.

Around 7 would be a good start, as a second option that would even be elite...
