Luke Walton actually isn’t far off from what he said, he and Kobe came close at least once. On December 17, 2006, the Lakers lost to the Wizards 147-141. Kobe had 45/10/8 and Luke had 15/11/8.

Ohhhhhh! So close |
Ugh, is that the game where Arenas scored 60 at Staples? Let's not remember that game fondly for any statistical measure. That game was so disgusting to watch that I still remember it. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL

Because no player has ever played in the first quarter with 2 fouls. Great observation. |

Luke Walton just said: "With all due respect to Jared Dudley, he shouldn't have three blow-by layups on us in the fourth quarter at this stage of his career." Lakers did have several defensive lapses that had LeBron covering his face. But JD deserves more respect than that. |

Wasn’t a blow by.. They was switching every screen, so on my dribbling hand offs I set it up all game by passing them to my teammates until The 4th.. Thats when I started to fake the pass and kept my dribble towards the rim. Not about speed it’s about the angles and timing |

Luke and his staff are horrendous. There has been no improvement since opening night. Every loss is the same story: Turnovers, free throws, lazy defense. Players expecting others to make plays on defense. Not much rim protection. LeBron not contesting shots. Hart is in a slump. Luke still using new rotations almost every game.
Where is the coaching? |

This is such a stupid take. No improvement since opening night? Really? You're either being deliberately ignorant or completely dishonest. It's inconceivable that you could actually believe that if you've been watching the games and keeping track of the stats. They were one of the worst defensive teams in the league at first, but have somehow ascended all the way to 10th. Yeah, no improvement. Right
It's amazing how shortsighted fans can be. Doesn't take much. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. And people who would be happy in heaven if Christ were not there, will not be there."

I hope these three losses in this road trip to sub .500 teams don't bite us in the playoff race. |

Agree.
We have a bunch of new guys and a few guys who have been here for 2-3 years but are all young. Last night was a good learning experience for them. They are going to make mistakes on the way there. That’s how you learn though. |

Here is something interesting about Luke... I can't remember the last time he coached the team to double hard on a hot player to get the ball out of his hands. He just seems to hope things will work out as opposed to adjusting. |

well apparently we went with a box and one against John Wall
tbh that's a move I'm kind of in favor of but I wasn't watching the game at that point so I'm not sure how effective it was _________________ one dog goes that way the other dog goes the other way |

Thank you. He almost never does this. He did it once against the Spurs for Derozan and we made a late surge in the 4th to win. That was the only game we won against the Spurs. Next game, Derozan was hot again but we let him torch all of our guys one-on-one. Same with Wall. It's (bleep) ridiculous. |

Do you think this is because of his switch everything philosophy? |
