Idiotic. Rondo/Kuz on Conley/Gasol. Then brings in Lonzo so he can miss jumpers but doesn't put him on Conley (BI instead, who has trouble with shifty small guards). Then takes out Lonzo, puts Hart on Conley.
Remember a few years ago when they switched Russell onto Paul George and PG won the game, jumper after jumper, and folks argued it's some kind of stroke of genius/experimentation? He just didn't know what the (bleep) he was doing folks. Still doesn't. |

| Its better to get a coach settled in the 2nd half of the season before free agency. I think Magic was going to give Luke until ASB unless lebron says otherwise. |

I'm normally pretty easy on Luke. But tonight was a bad coaching game. Substitution pattern was head scratching at times.

I try not to get mad at this team, but what continuously angers me is Luke's absurd small ball crap. Small ball is great for teams built around shooters, are we built around shooters? No. Please take that plan and shove it, Luke.
I'm fine with Luke learning and whatever else, but Kuzma at C or Hart at C were just getting abused. FFS! |
