Think Randle will go to Dallas.

Him and Porz should be a good fit

Why didn't he go to Dallas last year? The Lakers were willing to send him there at the deadline for expirings and Cuban didn't pull the trigger.

I thought the Lakers backed out when Noel injured his hand.

The only reason anybody has ever said Julius would go to Dallas is because that's his hometown. That lazy line of thinking is applied to just about every player heading into free agency. If it's not "I think ____ will sign with ____ because that's his hometown" it's "I think ___ will sign with ___ because ___ is on the roster and they're good friends".

Julius is going to go to a team that gives him a legit shot at serious play time and long term security. Dallas can't offer him that right now.

I'd say the Clippers, Charlotte, Memphis are his mostly likely landing spots.

I could also see the Knicks going after Jules if they don't get Zion.

It'd take a small miracle for Julius to even take a phone call from the Lakers.

44 Points
11 Rebounds
6 Assists
3 Blocks
2 Steals

Outside of Anthony Davis, Julius Randle is the best power forward in the Western Conference and at the very least top 3.

Not just gonna put it on Magic.

FAR too many Lakers fans were demanding for Julius to be traded. Far too many supposed "Experts" of the game were on TV saying he wasn't anything special.

People have consistently been impatient with the Lakers young talent. They set the bar at Magic and Kobe as if that's normal, when in reality it takes most good or great players 3 or four years to really start to show something.

That’s a typical Beasley statline.

I was against Lakers bringing him back. Of course I didn’t think they were going to use cap room on rondo and KCP. He’s making the Lakers look like complete idiots. Which of course they are.

Agreed there are other factors at play. Magic/Jeannie will always get the brunt of my blame because they’re at the top finalizing decisions

I was anti-Randle for his first two seasons. After last season, it was clear he was a keeper to me. The key for him is putting him in a system to be successful defensively. He needs to be in a trapping/hard hedging/switching system to be effective.

Maybe at the beginning of the year. Most fans wanted to keep him by the end of the year.

People who said randle was a ok player probably are garbage at bbal themselves.
these kind of people have a opinion about everything and they always right.
until you prove them wrong they are always right.

the biggest sign of a future success in a player is always MOTOR.
kobe jordan etc

only a 7 foot 6 guy or a shaq can avoid the need for a good motor.

randle was beasting up game after game. The most amazing part of his
bully ball was standing up to randoph and cousins. he was the lakers natural
leader from the end of 17 onward.

I will never forgive whoever let randle go. His money went to kcp which is an insult in it self and to the game and to every laker fan and the city of bbal crazy la.

They have made some puzzling moves, sacrificing players who could contribute now and in the future for just guys who will give you a limited window.
