D'Antoni will be here next season, sadly.
April 2015 is his deadline. |

I just don't see it happening. There's no clear cut option to hire and next season's likely going to be another off year. |

this is what I don't like about kobe, at least stick around until the season is completely done and do your exit interview just like any other players and support your teammates as much as you can.
this just shows how much he is above the team is right now.
i understand he is frustrated and he can do whatever he wants but be a little more supportive at least?
Pau Gasol is doing a great job of being supportive at least. |
Uhm, the guy hasn't played since December. Why does he need to do an exit interview? |
Okay so Kobe's cure for all the horrid play and a bad season is to go to.....France ?? That's kinda like me being sad I have to have sex with my Ugly wife be stepping out on her to go and make Love with Roseanne Barr Isn't it ? |

There is no way they can afford to have another off year. The fans won't stand for it an neither will the sponsers. MDA has to go to give fans hope that things are turning around for the better.
He's done. |

Only way I see that happening is if Kobe gets Injured again. If he can comeback healthy, and lower his minutes to 28-30 a game, along with bringing back Gasol on a HUGE 1 year deal, that way the Lakers will have the cap space to add Kevin Love after next season when he Opts out, plus a few added NBA Minimum wage Vets, the Lakers won't be horrible. They won't be the favorite for the finals, but they won't be horrible. |
