Finally.....
All my friends already began texting me about this being the end.
I've always said, it has to get ugly before it gets better. So, its been plenty ugly, now let's hope for the better.
For old time sake,
Go Lakers! |

so Kobe apparently took off for France with his family earlier this week...
From Mike Bresnahan of the LA Times:
"The Lakers are in San Antonio for their season finale. But Kobe, curiously, headed to France, The Times has learned..."
this is what I don't like about kobe, at least stick around until the season is completely done and do your exit interview just like any other players and support your teammates as much as you can.
this just shows how much he is above the team is right now.
i understand he is frustrated and he can do whatever he wants but be a little more supportive at least?
Pau Gasol is doing a great job of being supportive at least. |

Now, they'll lose the game, when it doesn't matter anymore. |

If a Laker reserve clotheslines Baynes, I'll consider it a win, regardless of score. |

Honestly, for a guy who has been a fan of this team since Jerry West was a rookie, I don't remember a worse season.
I mean, in reality, most of those 60's teams with West and Baylor were fairly mediocre. They mostly had average season records. Mid 40's to low 50's in win totals. Nothing special, but they often did well in the playoffs. They made it to 7 NBA Finals in the 60's, never winning a single one. Thing is, the expectations were not too high, though the pain became excruciating as they continued to lose to the Celtics.
Still even those bad teams had hope because they had Baylor and West and because people knew they could ramp it up for the playoffs.
This current team had no hope, had nothing to look forward to.
Kobe should be very pissed because he now has to live with the worst team in Laker history being during his tenure. _________________ Never argue with stupid people! They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience!! - Twain |

Uhm, the guy hasn't played since December. Why does he need to do an exit interview? |

I actually want the lakers to beat these ass holes. I despise the san Antonio spurs.
I would rather see the clippers win than these (bleep).... |

So strange that this is the last game of the season for the Lakers.
