Would be nice to see them both back against Boston--Swaggy P & Pau duo!

Now if you had the choice, which would you take?

1. Solid 10-20 point Laker win - but the loss by the Celtics means they get the pick ahead of the Lakers in the draft.

2. The Lakers get punked by the Celtics - win by 10-20 points, maybe even as embarssing as the loss to the Rockets, but get better draft position than the Celtics, and get our choice of who to take first before Boston.

3. To watch each and every member of the Celtics suffer undo agony, for all time and eternity, as you watch on a big screen, munching on nachos.

Remember, you can only choose one...........

NBA UPDATE:... The 76ers waived Earl Clark!

Quote:
Just a few hours after acquiring him from Cleveland in the Spencer Hawes trade, the Sixers have waived Earl Clark, making him a free agent and getting the Sixers back to the maximum number of roster spots.

I would have wanted a win against the Rockets TEN TIMES MORE than the Celtics - Teams like the Clippers, Heat, Rockets, etc. are teams that I would MUCH rather beat than the Celtics. The Celtics are irrelevant - Who gives a (bleep) if they beat us or not.

We play Houston one more time later in the season. Give me a loss tonight by 60 points if it means beating that (bleep) Howard and his new team in April.

Mixed emotions here. As much as I want us to tank, I don't like losing to the Celtics at all. AT ALL.

Mason & Ireland

John Ireland: "Someone has to win this game!"

Steve Mason: "This is a must LOSE for the Lakers!" (plays ping pong balls sound effect)

Would rather lose against the Celtics tonight then lose against them on lottery night...we already beat them at their place this season anyways and got our win against them.

I might get some flak for saying this, but a real Laker fan will never root for a Celtics win.

ESPECIALLY not on our homecourt.

Wonder who will be the first new Laker to have a break out game, Bazemore or Brooks?

So you are choosing my option #2 - I think that is how I would go if it meant we get #3 and they get #4 and the difference is that loss to them.

I don't want to see them get blown out though. The game against the Rockets was the first time in awhile that I was mad that we were losing.

Why would we be short handed? We got two players coming in for one going out. Assuming MDA plays them. Oh well, here is to tanking.. I will have a drink

It's possible we won't have Hill/Kaman/Pau and those new guys coming back from GS don't know the system. It will be a mess.

Let's see....chuck up a 3pter....chuck up a 3pter....

Ya, difficult system to learn.

This is a revenge game for Boston. Remember the game at Boston Kendall Marshall hit the game winner. That was a sweet win. I think Boston has the upper hand in this game. They have revenge on their minds and they are a little more healthier then us right now. I hope we win but won't be surprised if we lose.

The only person in the world who has the secret knowledge of a REAL Laker fan. Forget the Holy Grail, this is above that.
