I do not want to see the Lakers stuck in mediocrity for the next 10 years. This is pissing me off. Let's accept one terrible season, get the best possible player, then rebuild for the future. This game is pointless. Just hurts the franchise

so you tell the players to purposely miss shots? i get the concern, i don't see much that could be done about it.

you can bench whomever dare to play well. That's how PHI and CAV out-tank us.

You score 20pts, then you get DNPCD next game. You have to be that serious to be a ture tanker.

Yep. Seem Jim Buss happy with being medicore for the next 5 years.

Not going to help if they play .500 ball.

Exactly. 33 games left in the season? We're neck and neck? No amount of losses will make up the deficit when the teams are all this close in the first place.

To use the old Kobe cliche, we're playing checkers while other tanking teams are playing chess.

Glad Nash came back so the Lakers can feel like they got their money's worth. These wins have been just what the franchise and its fans have been looking for.

Little payback for what they did back at Staples and also to avenge X for one of those douche 76ers injuring him.

Meaning less wins against pathetic teams that aren't even trying to win.

Not what I ordered sir.

Not really. People that are looking for the future aren't content with the future mediocrity that awaits us with meaningless wins like this one.

These (bleep) east teams have to play each other eventually. Meanwhile when we start playing real teams it's going to look brutal.

That won't wotk, if we win all the games when we playing them.

can't argue with this. He actually protects the rim, at least better than Pau.

I think we are 5 games from the 2nd seed. 2 games from the 4 seed. Calm down people.

People seem to underestimate the importance of these games. Its akin to losing head to heads against the best teams in the league when you're fighting for a top seed

hahaha. What a bizarro world LG has become. The sky is falling because we aren't losing enough games.

Just stick to being a holier-than-thou know it all. Sarcasm is not one of your strengths.
