I'm betting we'll see a different Kobe tonight, the old vesion. He didn't try to take over the game against Toronto. He didn't assert himself. I had a feeling he'd come back trying to more involve his teammates. Tonight I think we'll see more of the Black Mamba.
Edit: Just noticed, I've posted 24000 times on LG. Another 1,000 and I get my jersey retired.

What stood out to Hornacek when he played against an 18-year-old Bryant? That he was such a "student of the game" determined to get better.
D'Antoni said we should see similar minutes for Bryant as last game (28). Would also like to find more run for Xavier Henry.
Steve Nash (nerve root issues) and Chris Kaman (back) remain out. D'Antoni isn't sure if Nash will join the team on the coming trip.
D'Antoni on what he likes about the surprisingly successful Suns (11-9): "For 48 minutes, they're coming at you so you'd better be ready."

Kobe @ the 3 interesting. Could slow the game down for him and also let us run n gun. Could this be the new spot he plays in the twilight of his career? Possibly -
everyone else plays up a spot when playing small ball why not kob. Melo and Bron @4 Bosh -at- 5 kob @3 he is physical enough that's for sure. Plus he may be able to beat 3s. |

It's going to be "bombs away" tonight!
The Lakers are third in three-point shooting in the NBA. Shooting 40%. Only Golden State and Portland have a better percentage.
Henry, Meeks and Wes Johnson are making nearly 45% of their attempts. Blake is also shooting the trey well.
I would love to see the Mamba hit a couple tonight!! |

If assimilating him back into the lineup costs them a few games in December, I think they're willing to live with that. I'm thinking the idea is that the more games he plays now, the more ready he will be later.
His teammates have all been saying he looks like he never left so maybe some of that will start showing on the court. |
