Kobe's moved to the 3 huh? Meeks and Blake were working well together, so I guess that lineup could work out. Defensively though, we're going to be relying a lot on Williams early on...

GO LAKERS!!!

I rather have Johnson in there, he is the better defender. Also, Williams seems to brick a lot when he starts. He is better off the bench. However, Sacre plays better wit the bench than as a starter... Looking forward to this game..

I'm glad we go back to the sweetest bench unit in the NBA.

I can't believe Kobe played 34 min on Sunday. No one guessed he'd play that much.

D'Antoni can't even wait one game to start running him into the ground.

You're welcome. Also a couple changes to the starting line-up tonight.

Lakers starters tonight: Blake, Meeks, Bryant, Williams and Gasol. Two changes there with Johnson/Sacre out for Meeks/Williams.

I actually liked the Sacre/Gasol lineup, they balanced each others' weaknesses out on either side of the court

Phoenix has won 4 of their last 6 on the road, and they have beaten some quality teams. Much improved team from last year.

I don't think we're winning tonight.

Bledsoe/Morris are going to TORCH us.

Now let's hope they use it properly.

Awful lineup, go figure.

Meeks/Bryant/Wes/Hill/Gasol

So easy a caveman could do it.

Great move by MDA to take out Sacre, he is pure trash... but unless we come out with full effort... I won't be surprised if the Suns blow us out.

i disagree. Mike D's probably thinking kobe is a step slow and touch overweight, might as well move him up to small forward against dudes who are slower and bigger.

besides kobe's played more than a few minutes at the SF spot over his years.

meeks is not a good ball handler. and with kobe's rust, neither is he.

and wes is a small forward, so i understand having williams in his place. you could have hill instead, which i probably would have gone with. williams plays decent D, but hill bails out pau's non-existent D every game.

I don't understand why Kobe is playing. He isn't better than any guard on this team at the moment.

He should just keep resting and practicing until he can play on a competitive level cause he's just going to slow us down, hold us back, and ruin the growth and chemistry of the younger, better players.

Kobe has the ball all the time whether you like it or not. Blake is well known for being the Bagel when playing with Kobe. Guy is not an off guard and shouldn't be asked to play like one.

Meeks is however, therefore he should be in. I love Wes's game and think he needs to be in there for his athleticism and ability to get back in transition and stop fast breaks.

Hill is obvious, you don't need to play the guy 38 minutes to start him. Get the game started off right.

So you would start Hill over Williams?

I sure would, Hill is a great offensive rebounder and not an undersized 4 with only one ability.

Lakers95 is on a fire!!! Went undefeated in November.
diando has one moral victory. . Also went 3-0 in November. But 0-2 in December. I suggest he doesn't make another game thread until the team is 2 games over 500.
lakerjoshua is the only one undefeated in December.

damn GTG did really bad... hes on the Mike Brown level of bad

GTG'S last game was a sure loss but it was his birthday so he insisted it was his game thread.....we lost him game thread #4.

lakerjoshua....GOOD LUCK FOR WIN #2!!
