I'm looking forward to a big game from the team tonight. We're overdue but it will take at least 100 points in order for us to win. Detroit has a nice front court therefore Gasol, Hill and Kaman will be tested all night long.
FYI: The Pistons are 2-38 in their last 40 games vs Western Conference teams.
Prediction: Lakers by 4
I would like to see Pau impose himself... He doesn't look like he has the hunger and has shown no killer instinct at all. Just going through the motions...

No GTG for the game thread?
I say we ban him from making game threads until further notice....And by further notice, I mean forever. _________________ The butter's hard and the eggs are chillin' in the dark.

Speaking of the Pistons, I say we snatch Will Bynum from them....dude was ballin before Jennings came back. _________________ The butter's hard and the eggs are chillin' in the dark.
Xavier Henry only played 7 minutes last game. His energy & athleticism is too important to the success of this team to be sitting on the bench the entire second half. He needs to have a good game tonight. GO LAKERS!!
Young crappy team on the road. Lakers should win _________________ "It was tough," Kobe Bryant said. "But when it got really tough for me, I just checked myself in."
Added them to the OP. Thanks Chronicle. _________________

If we lose today, I would imagine its enough to put away all these threads "give this team a chance", "we are only 3rd from the top team in the east in terms of wins", and "Best overall talent" but I expect a win, with a good game from Pau, just to make LG interesting until next Friday which is a loss.

Lakers will probably take 30 less fga, and win by 15. Detroit is just the record for lowest fg% in a game waiting to happen, they've turned chucking into an art form. Pack the paint, watch them shoot, the chances of actually losing by letting them shoot open 3's is probably about 5%

I wonder whether Kobe could return Friday? After tonight's game we have about the whole week off till Friday's game
Trouble brewing in Washington, maybe DC could take Pau out of our hands and give us Nene and change? Not sure what his contract is like though... _________________ New Beginings
