We need to win this one, badly. Little things count. Hitting free throws, not throwing away easy opportunities. If we had hit just a few more free throws tonight against Memphis, we would have won.

Mo Cheeks got the coaching job even though Phil (as special advisor to Gores) may have lobbied for Shaw during Detroit's search for Lawrence Frank's replacement. Dumars interviewed Cheeks 3 times and eventually Phil signed off on Cheeks as well.
Hope the Lakers shake off the Sunday evening malaise and crush these Pistons 127-92. |
