Memphis doesn't have a good record, they lost to Toronto.
They have very solid players, so on paper they are far from less good than the Lakers, but at home, I hope Lakers will win.
Just don't let Gasol and Randolph put like 20-25 points each |

You have more guts or I had more sense than to make a game thread on my birthday the other day since they'd lost the only one I'd started before (pre-season). I didn't want to be a jinx (it worked we won). Now I have double reason to want them to win today....so you don't get linched for a loss. |

Happy Birthday GTG!
Something's got to give tonight, the Grizzlies' have a streak of their own on the road vs. the thread streak.
Coach Joerger was a good defensive assistant coach who got promoted, but he is no Lionel Hollins. This team will get up to play some teams like the Warriors and then fall back into hibernation against teams like Dallas and Toronto. It's probably just a matter of time before Joerger is Kuester'ed. |

^^Forgot that Hollinger was hired to be the VP of Basketball Operations, what a disappointment... they weren't PERfect last year, but they did get to the conference finals.
Looks like they'll have to re-work their analytics algorithm to account for a jump in the demoralization-coefficient under a coach that is probably closer to losing the team than winning them over. |
