Pelicans coach Monty Williams on Tyreke Evans playing tonight: “We’ll see.” Evans been dealing with an ankle injury.

When you're a -3 dog at home versus a borderline playoff team you know it's probably starting to feel like a transitional season.

This is good, because transitional seasons follow disappointing ones and mark the beginning of really good ones to follow -
and if you're the lakers, potentially great ones.

I wish I could have got in on that action. I'm expecting a 15-20 point win tonight.

Another line up change for the Lakers tonight: Wesley Johnson will start on the wing. So: Blake, Meeks, Johnson, Hill, Gasol.

Mike Trudell ‏@LakersReporter
D’Antoni is looking for more consistent energy. Johnson/Hill have both competed consistently thus far. Kaman/Young head to bench.

Is he feeling a little heat? Making multiple moves in one game...

This coach is a joke...you know to get the most out of what you have you should stick with it so players see consistency, see a coach that has a plan. Constantly changing serves no purpose!

There is only 1 change I would like to see from him... STOP WITH THE STUPID SHOOTING OFFENSE AND TEACH DEFENSE FOR ONCE! OH YEAH AND TELL PAU TO STOP SHOOTING FROM THE OUTSIDE!

Sorry I hate this coach...

*FIXED*

He needs a couple of more inches. His speed isn't that great and his power can be matched in the NBA. If he gets to 6-9 or 6-10 without shoes then yeah he'll be a force.

Instead of finding the best offensive line-up, shouldn't D'antoni be figuring out the best defensive line-up? Or am I wrong?

Can't hate on a coach that makes adjustements when things go south though. It's good that he tryes things.

I thought his post play was pretty good for a freshmen. He missed a crucial rebound there at the end and he needs to work on his FT's.

With Johnson & Hill starting, LAL are suddenly quite athletic there. We'll see if Farmar, Young, Henry and Kaman can spark the bench.

This is what I see: He plays a center's game at a tweener SF/PF's height.

I'd say the rotations are just about right for once. The team is settling into the right roles. Now they need to play the right styles for each group (Hill-Gasol should be posting up).

I disagree, the only thing he has done is change a line up, that develops inconsistency among his players. To make adjustments would be to conern yourself with defense, to concern yourself with "IN GAME" adjustments. Having a different line up for the 6th time in 9 games shows he has no idea what he should do and is trying to catch lightning in a bottle so to speak.

Let's go Lakers.
Get back on track. Hoping for a redemption of sorts from Pau, but sadly I think that ship has sailed. Effort and intelligence will win this one.
