At least Nash tries and competes. Pau can't even catch the ball and gets abused defensively every single night.

He is brutal. I appreciate what he did for the team after being acquired, but he completely blows as we sit in 2013 and needs to go. Or maybe the idea is to play him a lot as that will lead to the losses we need? If the idea is to lose a lot of games, then he is the guy to play because he sucks.

How many more years is Pau under contract? This guy is brutal and needs to be off the team, even if we have to eat the money. I thought he would rebound this year playing back in the post, instead he is like a poor man's Mike Smrek.

he's an expiring contract

Thank God.

I can't envision this guy being in the NBA next year.

3. Lebron
4. KD
5. Kevin Love
6. Carmelo

Ehhhhh....this list is fine, but I'd have Kobe trade spots with CP3.

Even at this stage in his career, I like Kobe (healthy) over CP3. Just my opinion.

paul george is a good defender, but his offensive game isnt all there yet.

Huh? I'd say his offensive game is further along the Davis'.

In all honesty I have not seen TP play. have only seen one spurs game and that was the beating they gave us at home.

maybe they both need to be put on the tim duncan plan. if we get to the playoffs, they'll be fresh enough to contribute. If we dont, we get a good lottery pick. Win Win.

When Kobe gets back hopefully we can do better with the rotations. But there's no need to overreact. I wrote that because yesterday Pau looked dead tired already, and there were some people saying that he had some breathing problem or something.

We play Sunday again against the Timberwolves...another tough game. The young guys gotta pick their stuff and go at it. And we've a b2b next week again...ouch. This place will be interesting to follow in the next weeks

Gasol has had two poor performances back to back but he was defended by two of the best defenders in the NBA in Howard and Davis. I'm not going to give up on him this early in the season. He is the perfect #2 option but is being forced to be the #1 option without Kobe. If he is still playing like this when Kobe gets back then I'd be concerned. Even with his play tonight we still were in the game until the end. But without Kobe we lack a closer and are trying to figure out how to finish games.

lol And I forgot about Paul George. My bad!

So, my top 5 players would be....

1. Lebron

2. Kevin Durant

3./4. Kobe/Paul George

5. CP3

Having Kobe and Paul George neck and neck may be a bit of a cop out, but so what. Sue me!

Performances of 2 and 9 pts from a perfect #2 option should never be acceptable whether he's being defended by Anthony Davis or by Dennis Rodman. Completely unacceptable considering all the complaining he did about getting touches for the past few seasons.

Paul George is quickly becoming the most overrated player in the league. He's good but come on, you got to let him earn all of this praise.

Swaggy has been a bit disappointing but i think he should be there in the last minutes, right? He's the only player on the team that can create his shot...and Kaman now is ten times better than Pau. He has to play, let Pau rest

Agreed. He needs to bring superstar impact performances that lead to playoff series wins
