If the Clippers lose tomorrow against the Heat and we win @ Houston, we will be tied with the Clippers in the standings.

If we go big it should be:
Blake/Henry/Williams/Hill/Gasol

Then bench:
Farmar/Meeks/Young/Johnson/Kaman

Then we make a major trade:

Steve Nash for Mike Dantoni as head coach

He actually went 9 for 12 yesterday at the charity line. How the hell did that happen?

We need to inject Nash and Gasol with fountain of youth. Otherwise, it's going to get ugly really fast tomorrow.

Blowout loss. D12 dominates. This one will get ugly.

I want to be positive but Harden will slice the "defense" up and Howard will crush Gasol. If we throw Blake on Harden, then SMH

This game makes me contemplate what it would be like to go hang out with an ex-girlfriend I really liked and put a lot of energy into, but who dumped me anyway. Awkward!

We win tomorrow. It's a lock. I have spoken.

It'll be an embarrassing game for Dwight who will foul out in the 3rd Qtr.

Thanks to TNT, start time is somewhat more palatable for folks who are stuck in the parking lot known as the 405.

Looking forward to D12 bricking throws, getting stripped, and having that grin wiped off his face for a few sequences. Maybe he will gun for 27 rebs, but Lakers aren't leaving without Marv screaming about D12 getting posterized with a facial.

Game thread notes: gtg has lost all preseason and regular season games thus far.

Gotta know when to fold a losing hand.

That's why I let someone else make the game thread. I'm done making threads for only the impossible games.

I would start Kaman along with Pau to match their twin towers. However, Blake on Harden and we dead!!! Unless Harden starts bricking shots like he is prone to do sometimes. I don't have a good feeling about this at all, but we shall see..

Rockets 115

lakers 102

I predicted a 2-6 start. Still in hopes of 4-8 and a Kobe return after the 12th game.

Our only chance is a hot shooting night from beyond the arc, where the Rocket defense on the perimeter is quite weak. Plus hope harden is not feeling it.

Hack a Howard? I wonder if MDA has it in him?

Hurry back Kobe....

As much as I'd love to whip the sh=t out of these fools and make Howard look like and idiot, unfortunately I think they're going to blow us out by 20 or 25 points. And they are going to high five, jump in our faces and we're going to have to put up with Howard and his stupid moronic smile. I may save myself the anger and possibly throwing something at my tv which I will regret later. I can't take watching a bad Laker team anymore, it's killing my health.

Start: Nash/Xavier/Young/Kaman/Pau
Bench: Farmar/Blake/Meeks/Johnson/Hill

Give Henry or Young some run with the 2nd unit.

I'd put Pau on the block and go to him early and often. I'd also tell Henry to attack the basket as much as possible. When Dwight gets in early foul trouble, it tends to take him out of games mentally in a big way.

Also, if their lead gets any bigger than 8, I'd employ the Hack-A-Dwight/Asik. We have to keep it close. Can't put ourselves in the hole in this one.
