Who cares about the starters? Our bench just beat the Clippers. If any guy, let alone 5, play better than expected, the team may be boosted to victory.

That is true, but we can't expect the bench to put up 76 points every night... that's asking too much. |
Nobody asks for 76 ppg, about 40-50 is ideal, since we go 10-11 deep every game. My original point is that you shouldn't sleep on any team, any single player, bench guy or starter, can go off and lead his team to victory.

40-50 is still pretty insane to ask from your bench. I would be stoked if we got anywhere near that range. |

40-50 is still pretty insane to ask from your bench. I would be stoked if we got anywhere near that range. |
Umm, the Mavs bench averaged 41.5 ppg last season, without as much talent as we have. We're also gonna go 10-11 deep every game and limit our starter's minutes heavily. I don't see why 50ppg is not plausible.
