Clippers 113

Either Blake will body him up, or Farmar will use his speed against him. I'd start Blake on him and have Farmar on him occasionally to mix it up.
I totally forgot we got Farmar back... I hope he starts over Nash and Blake. I haven't been watching pre-season alot how was he doing?
Pretty much how I described him on the other thread (My thoughts on the Jazz game). I thought about starting Farmar, but he orchestrates the 2nd unit to full effect and they're so good with the Farmar/Hill pnr, I wouldn't start him. Blake can't do what Farmar does with the bench and Farmar doesn't feet into the spot up/cut role of the Pau high post or pnr offense with Nash on the floor. _________________

The Clippers haven't been that good in the preseason. I haven't seen them play, so I'll reserve further judgement, but based on what I've heard, this should be anyone's game. _________________

Preseason means less than nothing. Coaches use it to evaluate new lineups, players, and strats. Phil Jackson teams often looked awful awful awful in preseason games. Clips will be very good this season, and will be insanely hard for us to get a win against without Kobe and while trying to integrate a ton of new players.

Sometimes, teams with talent need the preseason to evaluate there game during the regular season... as we recalled last year with the Lakers... all there wrong doings during the preseason hurt them all year long.
I watched the Clippers pre-season game against the Jazz and Kings.. and there half-court offense is utter garbage.

According to the preseason standings, the pelicans are the best team in the league. Followed closely by the Kings and Suns. Meanwhile the Spurs and Warriors are bottom dwellers.
The clippers should be favored to win but it's a Lakers home game and it's a huge game for them individually so I expect it to be close.

I'm wondering, if the Lakers get the lead in the first quarter, which Clipper will Doc have fake an injury and be taken off the floor in a wheel chair, only to miraculously recover and lead his team to victory in the second half? _________________ I would rather have questions I cannot answer than answers I cannot question - Richard Feynman
We will win this game. I love that we are the under dogs and got cocky players who want to prove something. It will be a competitive game for sure!!!!! Can't wait for tmr.. I gotta take a nap before the game though.. . _________________ New Beginings
Killer mentality is needed in this one. They're going to enter the court to destroy us, so we gotta enter with the same intensity or else it could get ugly

I hope Kaman's back up to speed real soon, because a Williams v. Griffin matchup does not sound good to me at all. Nor am I confident in Nash/Blake slowing CP3 down.
If we get Nash/Blake/Young/Williams/Gasol for a starting lineup I think we're going to get torched coming out of the gates. I hope I'm wrong, we'll soon find out.

I want to say I am excited to watch this game, but I read MDA plans to start Nash and Blake and all my enthusiasm went out the door. Can somebody please explain to me what these coaches see in this lineup? I predict we will suffer from this lineup and hope the second unit will come in and pick up the slack.

The Clippers SHOULD win this one. Both teams will be motivated, which means the Clippers' health and talent edge should prevail. But they don't play them on paper for a reason. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim.
