nash needs to be more assertive on offense. I trust nash to take more shots than other ppl like meeks, even nick young. make ty Lawson work a lil on defense.

Nash said that during pre-season he is looking to get guys open looks as much as possible and not look for his own shot. This makes total sense given that the coaching staff is evaluating talent to see who makes the final roster. We need Wesley and Harris and Williams to shoot as many open shots as they can to see how the team might work.

That's fine for the preseason, but I would like to see Nash be a little more aggressive offensively in the reuglar season.

It makes the defense have to stay honest when he's looking to fire it up. Even as good of a passer as he is, it's still predictable if you never shoot the rock.

there's no reason he can't do both scoring and dishing. our guys can't shoot the lights out. no pt of passing to them lol.
Man Boateng is horrible, I think he's the first man out.

Jordan Farmar will not play tonight due to a calf strain he suffered on Saturday. He told me he’s fine, just doesn’t want to push it.

Also out of action is Wesley Johnson, who suffered a foot strain early in Sunday’s game. It’s possible he could play in Las Vegas (Thurs.).

Starters tonight: Nash, Meeks, Young, Kaman and Gasol. It’ll be the first time Gasol/Kaman have played together in game action.

I don't really like Kaman at the 4..he's skilled and strong..but not quick enough to guard the mobile 4s in this league.

Gasol plays at the four position and after the game sets a dinner with D'Antoni. Thats my pick for this game

Jordan Farmar (calf strain) is going through pregame drills, underscoring that he’s fine physically and is out as a precaution.
