Game Thoughts

"Lakers (8-8) take on the slumping Magic (5-10) in Dwight's 1st reunion with his old team.
The Magic are the 28th offense (91.1ppg), 10th rebounding (43.1rpg), 13th defensive
(96.4ppg) team in the league and is one of the weakest opponents the Lakers will face this
season. 11th in the East, Orlando shouldn't pose much of a threat to the surging Lakers, who
have blown out 2 of their last 3 opponents and should keep building on Friday's momentum.
The Magic rely on the triplette of Nelson(may not play)-Davis-Afflalo to get them through a
very tough season. Hedo Turkoglu and Harrington are still out.
Lakers are expected to have an easy time enforcing their tempo on the not very athletic Magic,
defend them easily, as Orlando doesn't have much offensive firepower, and torch them
offensively. Dwight Howard should have a field day against Glen Davis and Nicola Vucevic.
Kobe Bryant may still be feeling sick, so it's good that the opposition is so weak and he won't
have to push himself too much. RocknRoll AJ and Jodie Meeks will most likely torch the weak
Magic defense from all angles. Pau Gasol may struggle against Glen Davis's toughness.
It will be interesting to see how he responds. He will most likely be guarding Nicola Vucevic
on defense, so he won't be abused on the post by the Big Baby.
The Magic are too bad and the Lakers are way too good. Lakers should have a field day at
home and have fun humiliating the Magic. Lakers by 30+.
"

He's gotta average 28 and 15 first.

Thought he didn't want the Superman moniker, thought he wanted Iron Man.

I was joking(Shaq said he needed to average 28 and 15 for some reason).

He said he wanted to be Iron Man but then he was told about AC Green already having that nickname.

Call him Swat, D-How. If he plays like he did tonight call him Prez. Let's just keep him smiling.

There really is absolutely no reason to lose this game.

They're missing turk and al. They have three fringe starters, in Afflalo, Glen Davis, and Nelson. For the rest, they have no bench whatsoever.

So expect a close one.

You mean a blowout? We just started a red hot victory last night. I expect it will continue against the Magic. The Magic suck right now. No reason not to bully them.

Exactly why the law of superscrub will commence ushering in a new era of scrubsanity in orlando. It's always the most terrible teams that gain this when facing us on a hot streak.

Or maybe not. But if it happens, I called it.

I'll always remember that clown as a Celtic slobbering on himself in celebration as Nate Robinson jumped on his back. Yeah, it would be cool to see Dwight take him to school.
