PostPosted: Tue Nov 20, 2012 3:58 am    Post subject: ***LAKERS -vs- Nets 11/20/2012 Game Thread***

Tuesday, Nov 20 at Staples Center

07:30 PM Pacific Time or 10:30 PM ET

Record:

Lakers 5-5
Brokelyn: 6-2

========================

I haven't seen any game thread posted.

Lakers is currently on winning streak under Pringles' watch. And it's likely that we'll watch him direct the orchestra tonite from the bench.

The Nets will have a first taste of Dwight who was supposed to be Howard's rumored DESTINATION.

But hey, if you don't wanna be friends 'cuz I am now on another team, that's your choice bro. (that's something that Dwight's take on Williams who was "upset" cause now Kobe stole Dwight from him ).

==========================

GO LAKERS!

If Lakers First makes another thread which I am sure is better than this one, I am all for merging this thread into his. No problemo.

I think D12 just gave Dwill some fire with his 'no friend, no problemo'" take. And Mr Lopez certainly will prove that Shaq's words are sacred by owning D12. Well, let see, bro.

BK plays pretty tough on defense thus far at least....Getting 114/119 will be much tougher.

I think Kobe goes 11-22 (including 2 of 5 from 3pt land) with 8 of 9 from the line, for 32 points, and gets 5 dimes and 6 boards....

Howard played lights out last game...I think he will come close to that tonite... 8 of 14 shooting with 5 of 9 from the line for 21 points and grab 15 boards, with 3 blocks...

Pau for 17 and 11...

Lakers: 109

BK: 101

Been watching "The Association: Brooklyn Nets" on NBATV this year and I'll confess I'm liking the Nets thus far. It should be interesting to watch once they air the episode about this game

Especially for people who like QFTOS to get a glimpse from a Nets team/fan perspective.

This going to be a fun game.

Is Mike D'antoni going to coach this game for sure right?

I hope Nash returns too.

Nets are looking pretty good so far, but I think that we are finally getting our groove as a unit. Kobe and D12 should be able to run the 2 man game at will against Johnson and Lopez.

Game time decision..?? Oh gosh, this guy...he's such a wuss! I seriously think he only want to return when Nash does..he's scared that if his debut lost, he'd receive a lot of criticisms since we're winning games right now. If we sudden lose when he started to coach, people would blame him right away. I think he's scared of that.

Knicks have the best record in the NBA. If they keep it up, the Net's attendances will significantly decrease, unless the Nets make a run at the top 4.

Actually, our doctors won't clear him lol. His medication is very heavy (anti-inflammatory and pain killers). They also worry that he can't get out of the way if a player dives in his direction.

But he does the pregame, halftime and postgame coaching. In game is the only issue.

But he did said during a TWC interview that he wants to join Nash when return..but this dude is getting a good excuse to not coach yet., But w/e. as long as we gonna score 110+ and win again then it's all good.
