hmm imma hold my tongue on the "fire this, trade this" train till around Jan. Un-till then imma be optimistic
I joke around a lot cause watching this makes me angry but I agree
It's hard, but I know we're better than this. I can tell Dwight is not himself yet, which is understandable. In a month or two, he will be beasting way more than he is already.
And there is too much talent on this team to be playing like this for far too long.
EXACTLY. It's why I'm holding my tongue. We have the talent, we just aren't clicking at the moment. People are forgetting it is only 3 games.. and as Laker fans we are spoiled and expect win after win and when we don't the sky is falling. So people just need to be patient
I 100% agree its trying my patience though. The fans that are getting crazy I understand just from the stance of 34 years.Plus most fans didnt want coach brown hired in the first place(me included to be honest)but I knew once he was the coach I would support him or at least give him a chance. Not saying no one else is,just saying this wasn't the start anyone expected. It's still the effort and defense IMO. _________________ Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,it's learning how to dance in the rain....

3 games with no semblance of hope. I'm not seeing the improvements you guys are seeing so if you can please point them out it'd be much appreciated
I was agreeing about being optimistic not improvements _________________ Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,it's learning how to dance in the rain....

Worthy (paraphrased) - "Brown was brought in for defense. Either he's not communicating well enough to his players or the players aren't showing any passion for it"

Well Pau certainly isn't showing any passion for it unfortunately. That's been the case since the Phil Jackson years. Minus the 2009 Finals. _________________

Effort, rebounds,Defense and turnovers simple as that... _________________ Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,it's learning how to dance in the rain....
Smart man. I wonder when Magic is going is going to call for the potato's head?
Let Worthy coach, I'd rather take someone with no HC experience over Mike Brown. _________________ "It was tough," Kobe Bryant said. "But when it got really tough for me, I just checked myself in."

I know kobe does a lot of ''coach speak'' and ''media talk'' but the simple fact that kobe, coach brown and Dwight think they played any type of Defense and they ran any type of cohesive offense has me a little concerned. _________________ Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,it's learning how to dance in the rain....

I agree.
I want to see some fire. Maybe something along the lines of: "Losing is unacceptable, we all need to play harder and better, I have nothing else to say" and leave it at that. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny

Ireland: Are you guys making progress or did you take a step back tonight?
"I don't know."
I'm extremely disappointed. It's not acceptable for us to be losing like this. but <need to be patient, work in practice>
<how to improve>
Got to start on defensive end. can't give up this amount of points. our offense isn't there yet so we need to rely on something - and it's got to be on the defensive end of the floor.
