If Bynum can have a 40 point game and Ramon can off set the damage Parker does. We'll have a chance. I doubt Kobe plays...injury looks worse than it seems imo.

Guess Gregg didn't care much about the streak, he just wanted to make sure his big 3 was rested and ready to face the Lakers.

They won 11-straight to take 1st place and Pop benched his core players? Didn't he learn anything from last year? His team needs momentum heading into the playoffs.

In the Spurs' last 12 games last year, they were hot and cold which isn't exactly how a team should build momentum for the playoffs.

They lost 6 in row, then won 4 in a row, then lost 2 in row.

He's off his rocker it seems.

Again.

he learned from last year, manu got hurt last year cost him the series.

he let them rest cuz they are going to play 3 games in 4 days.

he wants them healthy, HCA not on his mind.

does kobe play this game?

I don't think we win if he's out.

they are pretty deep this year.

You know it's hard to guess what's Pop is thinking right now.

His choice of resting the big three should have a greater purpose of just getting ready for Lakers.

The game against Utah might be a strategic loss.

Are they trying to avoid a certain team in the second round?

The game is more important to us than them. With a 5 1/2 game lead, they're pretty well locked into finishing no worse than second place in the WC. We're the one who could drop between third and fifth with a few losses.

I guess this is a statement game for them.

Another tough game tomorrow. Hard to see how we can win if Popovich plays his big 3. If he doesn't, then we have a better than even shot, but even then it won't be easy. Blair is the exact type of player who gives Pau Gasol fits on defense: strong, active, and mobile. The best option would be to have 'Drew guard him and put Pau on Duncan since Pau has generally done a pretty good job on him.

Kobe is out again.

Let's see if Drew and Pau can dominate TD and DB. Sessions-Parker shouls be a good matchup too.

I know it's a lockout-shortened season, but I still have a hard time believing it's April and this is the first the Lakers are seeing of the Spurs. Just feels so weird.

Please be respectful and do not call my post a "crap"...If you actually took the time to understand you would see i was being sarcastic because most of the previous posts already have us losing the game.. its like a "theme" thread before I even posted... If you need to nit pick on a post find something else, or better yet read it first before you comment...

I keep hoping I'll wake up and Bynum will have turned into Shaq. Kobe, Pau and Meta were 4 years younger and Sessions was a legit all star....

Hey, a guy can dream right?

Lakers 115
Spurs 87

LET'S GO LAKERS!
