Kobe gotta exploit the hell outta Billups/Foye being on him. Likewise, he needs to keep Billups off the arc.
Everyone has to play their best D, I think Lakers can squeak it out as long as their D keeps up.

Isn't it crazy how the clippers are getting respect around the league, i mean when they're on the road the crowds go crazy if there team is beating the Clippers. That's when you know your good, but L.A will always be Laker town. Go get'em boys

Lakers need to go to Big 'Drew early and often. DeAndre Jordan loves to block shots, but his man defense, especially in the post against bigger guys, is very lacking. 'Drew can destroy him one on one, and one on one is generally what the Clippers let DeAndre do on defense.

I'm guessing the first time Pau gets it in the post and takes one dribble, Blake Griffin acts like he's been hit by a mack truck. Worst big man defender in the League by far considering his size, speed, hops, and athleticism. Griffin's teammate Brian Cook is a better defender than he is; at least Cookie will block the occasional shot as well as flop for charges.

Still find it funny. Kinda reminds me of Dan Gilbert getting bent over a team in a major market for always winning, except this isn't about millions, it is about starting a thread.

Anyway, BobbyJ has the format down right, he has all of the info in the first post so it convenient for all.

Hope he will get to do more game threads soon.

Kobe should destroy in this game. He DESTROYS short guards. No way Billups or anybody else on the Clippers can guard him.

I'm losing sleep... over not getting to start a game thread.

BobbyJ, maybe you could add a streaming link before the game starts to the original post so we'd have less posters asking for one? Hehe

Edit: Oh and I forgot, cheer up man. if our bench sucks as you think, there's no way but up if they're down.

I'm a little worried about CP3. No Blake. We have Fish and a rookie trying to guard him. MB's defense better be ON for this one.

^ They need to just play good position D and stay in front of him. If they keep getting beat and Bynum or Pau has to continually help, Lob City will be in full effect.

We have the tools to punish them physically. Kobe and Drew need to dominate whoever's guarding them. Pau should get his vs Blake but Blake will also go right back at him.

Another key test for the Lakers so far, they failed their two big tests earlier vs Chicago and @Denver, now it's time to get some signature wins starting with this one and moving onto Dallas, Miami and Orlando.
