Just stop this. Most of you are disgusting if MB drew that play.

I don't know what game some were watching. I saw an assistant draw up the winning play

Wrong. Right before the commercial everyone was huddled around mb who had the playbook talking.

Absolutely. I don't think that was on the coaching staff's minds for sure.
Even Barnes was surprised. If it was what the drawn play, Barnes would have expected that dodo pass.

Oh the drama!

People here realize the clock doesn't start when it bounces right? It starts if Barnes touches it, or if worse, Jason Smith back there touches and shoots it.

That was an obscenely stupid play.

I don't think MWP realized that.

BTW, you can see by MWP's anticipation to inbound the ball that he was going to throw it to Barnes the whole time.

So you know for sure that MB ordered that stupid play?
Let me see. How come Barnes was surprised at the doodoo pass by Ron?
He didn't seem to expect that stupid pass.
Yup. Blame it on coach again for low IQ part on MWP.

Sorry Worthy, I don't agree with your statement. Paraphrasing..."Kobe can't carry this team, inside presence has to be the number 1 priority."

No, it doesn't matter if the pass is perfect. The basic fundamentals of basketball tell you NEVER do a cross court pass and obviously NEVER do it in the direction of your opponent's goal. We've all seen a .4 before, 1.3 is more than enough.

I got to say, that Blake drive to the hoop was big. I didn't think he could do that at all. Dumb mistake by MWP but he gets a pass from me since he made the clutch 3. Drew played great in the 4th quarter, especially on defense blocking and rebounding. Need that more from him to be defensive enforcer.

Why did Mike Brown keep MWP in the game anyways? He's a horrible FT shooter and adds nothing in a closing situation. We are SO LUCKY that MWP wasn't fouled under the basket.

kinda smart, took seconds off clock, but still stunted play

WINNN FTW

The clock doesn't run until someone touches the ball, thus a stunted play.

Yeah, it didn't take extra time off the clock. I can't understand why MWP would ever pass it to that side of the court. Did he want New Orleans to have a realistic shot at it? It would have been better if MWP threw it to someone else, anyone else on that court.

post-game MB: "steve blake was huge for us...he made big plays...he was aggressive tonight, big factor for our win tonight..."

so did MWP, session, gasol...this proves the man-love between blake and potatohead... when is he going to realize that blake is getting torched EVERY SINGLE NIGHT by the opposing guards?
