"We are just a work in progress, on defense and offense" Matt Barnes
I agree.

This short season is really unpredictable. One night the Blazers being considered one of the top teams in the west by beating us, the next night they are getting mopped all over the floor by the old ass Suns.

Kobe had 39 (another day at the office for him) but Barnes won this game for the Lakers.

Good thing they have the day off tomorrow. Kobe played the entire second half. It's good that he had that procedure in Germany...he couldn't do this and be so effective last year.

He takes numbing injections too which is ridiculous. I can't imagine shooting with no feel. It's all muscle mechanics from years of experience.

Same ol "Give 110%" thing we see every year from teams the Lakers have ripped in the finals or playoffs.

OF COURSE they're getting beat! Their season is over now; they've won their Game 7 of the World Championships last night.

I like the fact that Drew was still active around the basket even though he didn't get alot of shots tonight.

Ugh, no Curry for them and KWAME schooled Drew! Feels like an L despite what the box score says.

The same Kwame with TEN less rebounds than Bynum? No.

Sorry, you guys are quick to catch on as I only watched the game in short spurts as I had a woman over to entertain me tonight.

Kobe is still elite offensively which is amazing but you gotta agree that defensively, he is pretty much done. Watching him try to guard any of the Blazers wing players was just not pretty.

Pau is the odd man these days, he's always open because the defense draws toward Kobe and Bynum. Now Kobe and Pau can both shoot a jumper, so they're much more comfortable with it. Bynum though gets double and really lets himself handle too much. He shouldn't be afraid of passing out to Pau, repositioning himself, and getting a pass back. That's one of the things he's gotta learn to do and expect.
