For newer fans that that believe those we his only highlights, they weren't. Magic did stuff like that every game and it was so much fun to be there.
There were some blown passes (usually Mychal T) or assists ruined by fouls that definitely would've replaced items that made the cut. The man's routine every game stuff was the nightly highlight for a guy like Bron. I've always contended that Kidd was the only point guard whose intuition, timing, and feel ever reminded me of a blurry mimmeograph of Magic. Earv's recognition of in-game situations was stupefying even compared to Stockton's. He's still underrated in that aspect compared to Bird, who always gets credited for thinking 2-3 steps ahead (and I'm not being paranoid...Celtics always got more credit for cerebral play than LA).
Thx for the comments, I'm starting on a new multi-era vid. Kind of an unorthodox idea I came up with.
I need ideas on any big or unique/interesting looking 3 pt shots by Kobe, Jones, Fox, and Smush (serious). Any ideas, let me know. I'm looking for footage of that left handed 3 by Kobe vs Dallas in 05 (iirc).
You probably already have this one, but one of the most interesting 3s Kobe ever hit IMO was a behind the back dribble + shoot from just inside the halfcourt line against the Jazz in '03. It was during his 35+ streak.
Found this link, it's at 4:22 (not great quality): .
It might be the longest shot Kobe ever hit in game too.
Great video, btw. _________________ *Warning: The preceding post may have contained sarcasm and/or irony.
I cant thank you enough. That brought it all back to when things were good. Great hearing Chick and Keith too.
Made my day. Your year spent has made many here happy. Worthy time spent. Thanks again. _________________ Mama, There Goes That Mamba.

Awesome video. I kept hoping and waiting to see Magic's near halfcourt bounce pass to Worthy for the fingerroll against the Clips at the Sports Arena, but it wasn't there darn it..
Wow! Excellent compilation video. This brought back some serious nostalgia. Good job, NPZ! _________________ Obsession is a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated.

Such good memories. He is the best there ever was in my book. Jordan be damned. The brilliant thing to me about the way Magic played was that the defense never knew whether he was going for the pass or the shot, and consequently it made both easier for him. He truly was magic.

I simply do not understand how anyone could not be a fan of not only Magic, but the Lakers. I just don't get it.
Amazing vid as always NPZ. All of my greatest YouTube experiences have been with your vids. Watching that vid made me laugh, get amazed and even get a lil' teary eyed (joy). _________________ "The best there is. The best there was.
