That was some bad karma you unleashed with the previous game thread . . .

I didn't sticky it, but a troll with the username DeathTrap started the thread, I couldn't fix that.

I should have unstickied though, obviously would have given us the Orlando win. Not tonight though, this was just a beatdown.

Annoying game that was difficult to watch, but I expected a loss (as always when the Lakers come to play in Charlotte) so can't say I'm all that distraught with the result.

On the bright side, if they don't get embarrassed in Cleveland it's still a 5-2 road trip which is better than I expected before it began. Unfortunately, they're only 1 game ahead in the loss column against OKC and with a game in Portland next week (another building the Lakers just love losing in), I wonder how long that lead will last.

So....about that size advantage....we should exploit that against scrubs like Kwame and Nazr right?

The Lakers now 3 games under .500 lifetime against the Bobcats. They just have their number no mater how good the Lakers are and how bad the Bobcats are. The Lakers players keep hearing about how much they suck against the Bobcats and they start believing it and it shows on the court.

There's no need for excuses for tonight.

Everyone played awful. And it was the Bobcats. That simple.

If I had to pinpoint the moment when I knew the game was over, it was probably when Kwame Brown bailed out the Bobcats and hit a jumper with a couple seconds left on the shot clock.

Kwamay.

Don't beat yourself up over it. I've begun to think that these game threads being stickied or not has nothing to do with whether or not the Lakers get the win.

#6 - Charlotte ain't big enough stage.

#5 - It's MJ's team... just doesn't seem right beating 'em in their building.

#4 - Kobe had the flew, Pau had pneumonia, LO had the sh*ts

#3 - Walton buys bad 7-11 burritos, poisons entire team

#2 - Drew served w/ bench warrant for multiple unpaid speeding tickets

#1 - 11 games in 3 nights.

Thanks.

I was completely distraught with my inability to rectify the game thread situation from yesterday. Today may prove though, that you may be on to something, that maybe, just maybe, game threads being stickied or not does not have an effect on the Lakers ability to win games.

Can't exploit anything when your perimeter shoots 3-19 from 3 and allow their man to sag off.

In theory, maybe. He's played some decent ball for Charlotte, however, I certainly do not miss that cake throwing fool.

Too many backboards have been shattered because of his hook shoots and layup attempts of death.

It may not be pretty, but I will take one of the better man defenders at the position.

I understand where you're coming from, but too many bad memories for me. And I was someone who always gave props to Kwame for his individual man defense. The rest of his game is just beyond awful though. And if nothing else, the boo birds game against Phoenix is forever etched into my memory.

I am not saying rely on him for post offense. LOL. That would be bad.

But you telling me he would not be better then Ratliff?
