Im really excited about this game even after losing all these big games im always excited and expect the Lakers to win. Same here I expect the Lakers to win. Celtics wont have Shaq and if Lakers win it will be easy to make that excuse, but lets not fool ourselves Celtics main 3 bigs are playing tomorrow and obviously minutes between 3 guys for 2 positions can be split fine. They have their core we have ours.
I expect the Lakers to step up to the challenge letting a team shoot 60% from the field is unacceptable. I want to see the effort on defense for 48 minutes. Taking smart shots limits transition, but come on now if you want to get back and your mind is on getting back on defense after a miss you can get back in time to stop transitions. KG isn't that much faster than Pau and especially Lamar. If the Bigs don't get back then the guards have to try to stop KG or Perkins in the paint while Ray Allen and Paul Pierce get transition 3s. No excuse just do what you get paid millions to do.
We just got Pack Back on the Grizzlies in their house now its time for the dirty leprechauns. Only team that I can remember to avoid pack back time so far is the Spurs but well get them back we still have 2 more games with them.
Miss Matt. Love what the guy brings to the team. Hes about 3 weeks away still. I just know when that dude comes back he will leave it all on the floor until we 3peat I know he wants it bad.
I just want Pierce to play . If not, it would be a lose-lose situation.
If they win without him it would be the apocalypse. If we win without him, we would not have a realistic view of the two team´s shape and possibilities. Not to mention Rivers´post -game interviews, with him saying that this game has no meaning without his star. And he´d be right...

The Lakers are only 2.5 games behind Boston. It's a must-win game if they are serious about HCA, because the schedule remains tough for another month. _________________ 1996-2016

Can't for the life of me think of a reason to WANT to lose Boston if you are a Lakers fan.
Even if one thinks that it may "force" the team into making a move that I want them to make, the logic is foolish. There is no worse way to try and get a good deal done than by looking too eager and needy because people know you need to shake things up.
So regardless of whether you want Bynum gone, the last thing you should want is the Lakers to lose tonight, because it doesn't really increase the odds that the Lakers will make a move, but it does mean that the quality of that move will be diminished. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

The Lakers best hope is that this team is unified in their desire to offset the criticisms and prove to everyone that they deserve to be taken seriously and respected.
If they can't get into tonight's game a defend their reputation, their place as current Champions and answer the question of whether they need to be "shaken up" then they have real issues.
Hopefully the go with the right attitude, otherwise this game will make the last match up look like a nail-biter. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Allen is almost sure to break Reggie's record tonight with Fish guarding him.
Let's just make sure we win this game.
Yeah, Allen will probably break the record tonight, but to me, since they only recently started to count three's as actual three's, this doesn't mean much in the historical context. How many "three's" do you think Jerry West, Goodrich, Robertson, etc. etc. made before they put in that line? Hate to see any Smeldick break any type of record though, so maybe I'm biased.
Dave McMenamin on twitter: RT @gwashburn14: Lakers will be wearing their gold throwbacks tonight vs. #celtics. The same ones worn in the first meeting #lakers
