Jersey Mike's is overrated IMO. It's an above average sub, but not amazing. Their bread is too filling and bigger than Subway's.. which is not a good thing
They dont load on the meat either.


I heard Dan's super subs is good, but I'm not sure why, I want to try that place..

Sando's in Manhattan Beach is also pretty awesome.

Luchese's in Sun Valley....they smash every where else I've eaten for sandwiches. As far as subs...like philly's....Philly's Best is really good.

John's Philly Grill--a couple in Huntington Beach, one in Long Beach (I think), and one in the Salon Massacre strip mall in Seal Beach.

The original owner is from Philly, he gets the bread rolls delivered fresh from a bakery daily, he brings the cheese in from Wisconsin, he uses top notch meat, etc...

Good stuff.

Rinaldi's in Redondo. Get 'The Godfather' and add some crushed red pepper and tapatio= amazing.
