You stole a Bobby J thread opportunity. How dare you. He's trying to set a record here, but His Airness just had to come in here and steal the show. I pity the fool.

In the past, white jerseys almost always meant a win. This year, it's the opposite.

Nevertheless, GO LAKERS!!! BUCK FOSTON!!!

Kobe said both LAL & Boston get the importance of winning the glass, & other than effort & technique, it comes down to luck.

I remember him preaching this to the 08' Olympic team, saying from his experience the team that wins the rebounding battle almost always wins the game.
This is why the 15 boards in the finals was so impressive to me, not only was it tons of effort, it was the smartest thing anyone did in that game. 6-24 shooting but he almost got a board for every shot he missed to make up for it.

Good point. Defense and Rebounding win games and championships. Those 15 boards Kobe got in game 7 were huge. He out rebounded every Boston player in that game.

Lakers have shown up against Boston the last two years, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

Hey Doc, Boston hasn't beaten LA's starting 5 in the regular season since 2008:P

They've never beaten this starting five, EVER. In 07-08 they beat us before we had Pau and then after Drew went down(drew was out for the finals too). In 08-09 we swept them while they were at full strength both times and Bynum was out the second game(in boston). Last year we won in boston but lost at home when Kobe sat out and no one could execute at the end of the game. And in the Finals we won.

At full strength, we have been the better team.

How many minutes will it take Artest and Pierce to get double technicals?

This is the best match up of the game. I love when Ron pushes Paulina around.
