Lakers starting to get it rolling at the right time. The following month is brutal and they will need to play at high level to win those road games vs. elite teams coming up. This homestand is key, but high level play on the 7 game roadie is a must.

Pack back in style tonight. Really can't think of a better way to kick off a home stand.

LO played a great game.

They were all great, but LO and Drew really stood out.

With Barnes injury for another month or so, very happy to see Walton play well. He's getting playing decent for first time in years.

Yep- they're starting to build some momentum heading into that trip.

I'd like to see them crush that trip the way the did the 6 gamer in Feb '09 that included wins at Boston and Cleveland.

Yup, LO stabbed the Jazz in the heart to start the 4th and killed any hope by the Jazz comeback kids (came back from 22 down in the 4th vs the Heat).

Bynum was just a Man among boys all game long.

And of course Kobe, Pau, Ron and almost every Laker played a great overall game.

Really fun game to watch and I'm not usually into these blowouts.

Agreed.

Maybe now that he's healthy and getting some confidence back, he can make some real contributions.

McHale and Webber were just commenting on the huge difference Drew makes to this team, how West's comments about the defense kind of misses the point when Drew and Pau can alter so many shots, and how LO and everyone else sliding down a spot creates such a matchup problem with the rest of the league.

I agree with them.

If LAkers play smart on O and reduce opponents transition opportunities, they can shut anyone down in the 1/2 court.

Some good ones.

Nothing beats the Cleveland beat down though.

Did anyone notice that the scorekeepers gave Kobe's offensive putback to the start of the 3rd to Bynum? They also credited him for a turnover at the start of the 1st when Pau's pass slipped through his hands. Strange.

Great win, great play all around by everybody, especially the bigs. LO's shot was pure awesomeness.

Great performance from start to finish, when they play like that they can be impossible to beat. Having a healthy Drew helps sooo much
