***LAKERS -at- Hornets 12/29/10 Game Thread***

There probably is a sense of complacency that sets in after winning multiple championships, but I'm starting to wonder whether fatigue is the bigger issue for these guys. We're so used to seeing the Lakers making 4th quarter comebacks after trailing. None of the last 3 game have had insurmountable deficits going into the 4th quarter (hovering around a 10 point difference I believe), and yet all of them became blowouts mere minutes into the 4th rather than LA clawing their way back into the game. It makes me question whether these guys can play 48 minutes against the league's better teams. However, whether this is really due to fatigue or just unwillingness to extert themselves at this point of the season, I honestly don't know.

The Hornets have cooled off a lot since their 9-1 start but even still, I'll be impressed if the Lakers can play a good 4th quarter for a change to get themselves a win. If they truly are too tired/unwilling to play the 4th, then this game probably is another struggle.

LoL to all of you who think you make a difference. If you want to make a difference then call the Nba office and request to talk to David Stern. Question him about why Kobe doesn't get calls that are obvious, why the Laker's aren't allowed to touch someone while on the other end Laker's bodies are flying....

But stop being delusional thinking it matters who starts game threads and whether they're stickied or not.

Fisher is going to be so tired by Sunday guarding top tier point guards in the NBA. Hopefully the reserves can provide that extra spark, and bring back the Killer B's.
