The Jazz are going to be eating that same good ol'turkey too! I like our chances in this game. The Jazz crowd may not be too bad because it's the day after thanksgiving (holiday weekend). We are well rested. We bond well on the road. I think we will be ready. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Bobby, the Utah fans hold the Lakers in a VERY special part of thier hearts. They gonna be the usual scum of the earth they've always been. I hope we win this game, I hate losing in Utah, hate those fans. Which sucks because the team itself isn't that bad and Sloan has been doing work forever. _________________ *sighs*

They have a good starting five.
I hope they keep Millsap and Jefferson off the glass. And both LO&Pau better be ready for some good defense.
Here's hoping for a win.
Go Lakers! |

I've got a bad feeling about this.
The Jazz are going to be at their best, and their fans are going to be at their worst, since they hate the Lakers for ending their season every season. I just hope no turkey meat gets thrown on the court.
Still, Chicago gave the Lakers a tough game, Gasol isn't going to feel very peachy about getting pwned by Noah, so complacency shouldn't be a factor. LO played well Tuesday and I think he'll make a difference tomorrow. Also, Kobe has a very special place in his heart for Jazz fans. A very special, dark, cold place.

Whatever, Jazz. It's a benefit to be the traveling team on the day after THanksgiving.
Lakers win by 15 with bonus Sasha and Ebanks sightings. _________________ Before Lamar trade: Lakers-57 wins (2011)

Lol, people actually thought trading LO would be a GOOD thing |

Gasol and Odom should dominate games like these...Utah's defense isn't physical anymore. |

We got trashed on the boards against Chicago, so it will be interesting to see how we respond in this one. Fisher usually does better against Deron type PG's, and we have the killer B's which will help out; I wonder if it will be negated somewhat by their frontcourt size. I think the big difference is we can spread the floor now and not have to rely on Kobe to hit jumpers. Gasol will have to play much better, so I do expect a bounce-back game from him.

Quote: | Lakers expect physical Jazz team
The Lakers know it will be all about business when they face the Utah Jazz on Friday in Salt Lake City.
The light practice Thursday, combined with no practice Wednesday, gave the Lakers time to heal their bodies and get ready for a physical game against the bruising Jazz.
"We just know when we go to see Utah it's going to be a real intense ballgame," Jackson said. "We have to prep ourselves for that physical nature and how they play it on their home court, the drive they have and how they are going to play."
Lamar Odom said the Jazz likes to pack the paint and run its offense inside-out.
Still, Odom said physical play is not something the Lakers shy away from — whether it's the Jazz or any other team.
"We can play any kind of style you want to," Odom said. "We've got different kinds of lineups for that."
Utah will put bodies on players and set hard screens.
"They are very physical," guard Steve Blake said. "That's the kind of players they have on their team. That's the type of game they want to make it. There are no cuts when they don't hit you. Offensively, they are always ducking in, trying to get their body on you to seal you. You've got to be ready for that." |

Even though it was a sweep the Jazz gave us a pretty tough series last year. _________________
