Needless to say, the Bynum + Blake defensive combo is waay waay better than Gasol + Fisher. In this game and in the Philly game, the bench outperformed the starters defensively.

This is a game where it's all about energy. LAst game of the trip and a 10am start on the fellas' bodyclocks.

Going to need Bynum, BLake, Barnes and Brown to really help keep the energy up.
Pau and LO will need to grin and bear it and push through being tired and take advantage of their mismatches.

The KIller Bs (with honorary member Bynum) really made the difference. They were the guys who were the freshest and had the most energy and absolutely won the game for the P&G today.

Pau finally got it going offensively. Defensively Pau was trash.

Lamar had decent stats but really was trash on both ends.

But they both get a free pass as it's a Lakers win and they've done their share of great work this season.

Great game by the 5 B's

For sure.

With last year's bench, Lakers would have lost 5 or 6 more games this year thn they have.

Just got in - Looks like I missed a good game. Great result though!

Looks like Drew's starting to get pre-season over with, I'm liking a 16/7 playing only half-time his third game back!

It's also nice to see we crushed them in rebounding.

One more tune-up with Milwaukee, then three challenges to see what this fully armed and operational battle station can do!!

Are you guys really happy with this W?

I'm not...Raptors were playing without their best player and a double-digit scorer off the bench.

But yet Lakers couldn't blow them out in the 3Q, let them back in had to be involved in a shootout in the 4Q.

How can you not be happy when the bench plays great?

I'd much rather have the bench play great in the regular season than the starters. Builds confidence and strengthens the team when your bench delivers.

Even with the starters not playing well, it's great to see the bench can step up and dominate even against the other team's sterters.

More firepowa for a deep Playoff run.

A W is a W as far as i'm concerned. No matter how ugly it is.

Some people tend to forget that.
