Bynum might come off the bench?

Quote:
Lakers Coach Phil Jackson said Bynum might play only about 15 minutes. Jackson had repeatedly said that the big center would start in his first game, but changed his mind after conferring with Lakers' trainers. Bynum will determine whether he starts or comes off the bench, Jackson said.

“We’ll just live with what happens,” Jackson said. “It may hurt the team, but we’re willing to do that at this point. It’s a big effect for us, hopefully.”

So Bynum for about 15 minutes and most likely no Wall or Blatcke, Arenas probable for the Wiz?

Bynum 6 points 2 rebounds

Lakers 105
Wiz 86

Jackson is already playing mind games with Bynum:

Bynum will determine whether he starts or comes off the bench, Jackson said.

We’ll just live with what happens,” Jackson said. “It may hurt the team, but we’re willing to do that at this point. It’s a big effect for us, hopefully.”

John Wall, Andray Blatche out against Los Angeles Lakers
By Michael Lee
John Wall and Andray Blatche will both be out when the Wizards face the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Lakers at Verizon Center. Wall is battling tendinitis in his right knee, while Blatche had the swelling in his left knee drained on Monday. Coach Flip Saunders said Kirk Hinrich and Yi Jianlian will start in their place. Gilbert Arenas (left knee soreness) remains probable against the Lakers.

John Wall is killing my fantasy teams right now. Dude does need to buy some Nikes or something

Heres to hoping our center plays well and feels confident in his body and most importantly stays healthy until he no longer plays for the Lakers.

Cant wait. I really think we should just start bynum. He will eventually be a starter why not get him in the grove with the first team and let him go 5 minutes then bring LO off the bench. Besides I think he is more affective when he starts. Phil thinks so too. I bet he starts

Quote:
I've always felt he's been great at coming off the block and playing the first quarter," Jackson said. "I think his averages are eight points a game or something like that in the first quarter when he's consistently playing. So, we like that about him and the fact that those two big guys gives a real dynamic kind of feel of what an opponent is going to have to do to score."

Let's blow them out so starters can rest in 4th quarter. Need to be ready for tomorrow's game.

Well yeah, the trade couldn't go down until tomorrow and thus far only 1 source has confirmed a deal. We'll know more tomorrow
