Anything but a blowout here is a letdown.
Wizards absolutely suck right now.
Not only do we need to win this and the Clips game after, we need to pick up a few "tough" game wins this month to make up for the debacle that transpired before the sexual abuse of Kings.

We win this game on the defensive end fellas, we need to shut down John Wall and Arenas. So we need to grab as many boards as possible, that means Pau is gonna have to be a presence in the paint and LO is gonna need to be LO. i think the fact that Wall is playing the world champs and is possibly going to be guarding the greatest player on the planet will be too much for the rookie, but just incase.. make him a shooter. dont let him penetrate the lane, and arenas is coming back from multiple injuries so hes most likely going to be off. so maybe put Ron on him and just annoy him on the defensive end, he'll eventually get frustrated and start throwin up shots only kobe can make. we win the size game so grabbing rebounds should not be that hard.

Who knows why there's a lot of superstition... I guess some folks feel there are some basketball spirits that huddle around every game with a long checklist to determine which team is deserving of victory:
1. Game threads started by certain individuals
2. Players growing beards for x amount of days
3. Knocking on wood before games
4. Certain players pointing up to the sky in acknowledgment after a made miracle shot will get a nod
5. Making sure the opposite of what Charles Barkley says happens
etc... |
