Pretty sure Barnes was guarding Shane on the 2 3s yes?

90 percent sure i saw kobe on those 3s, and i know i saw kobe when shane embarassed him on a 2pt jumper. didn't tivo the game tonight (thank god) so i can't go back to check for sure.

all i know is that we were doing a pretty good job until barnes was subbed out for kobe. and then everything went to absolute (bleep) when we subbed fisher back in for blake.

Just another embarrassing loss. This team fizzled down the stretch in the last five minutes.

I am thankful I couldnt watch the game and so are my neighbors

Seriously. That's obviously one of the man problems with this team. Pau and Odom are burned out at this point.

I'm surprised they lost, but maybe I shouldn't be. The Lakers win with their size. But tonight, Gasol was a non-factor on a mere 8 points relegating the team to be a bunch of jump shooters down the stretch. Obviously the defense didn't show up, but it's kind of sad to see the Rockets, a team that's chronically struggled to score (especially in the 4th) to outscore them.

No size and the Lakers are just a middle of the pack team in the Western Conference. It's that simple.

LO looked pissed. He probably needs to pull Kobe and Fisher aside to remind them they aren't doing the team any favors with their shot selection.

Don't worry guys. The Lakers will right this ship. Just sailing through some choppy seas atm.

What's funny, is the opposing bench is scoring on our STARTERS out there. Read that as our bench isn't getting much PT.

I haven't seen an offensive rebound put back in weeks.

But I do love the Phil Jackson smirk sitting on the bench.

Pau looks like he needs a vacation

Kobe played a HORRID defensive game down the stretch. He comes in an immediately fouls Martin on a 3, fouls Scola, leaves Battier..

He is looking terrible the last 8+ games.

How many consecutive games can Pau be tired? Maybe they need to play him hard for 3 games, and give him a day off?

Kobe just doesnt have that "magic" this year.... you know, the game busting/tying/rallying shots he usually hits. He very well could be declining in front of our very eyes. Or maybe it's the knee.

Was pretty magical against Utah. 4/4 and 3/3 from the line in a span of 3 minutes. Doesn't have it as consistently as before... at least not yet.

Was that the same utah game we lost? Yeah not magical enough.
