historically, the Lakers have found a way to win after losing 3 in the Pau Gasol and Shaq era.

i believe it will continue tonight. no word on the rest of the games after this one... the 00-01 Lakers went 15-9 to start the season and went 15-1 to finish with a chip, so anything is possible with this team.

Will Caracter get more than 3 minutes tonight?

I think Pau's going to bounce back this game, with help from LO.

LA 105
Houston 98

If the B's recapture their mojo it's a blowout.

I fully expect to see the Lakers embarrass themselves tonight too and look like a bunch of clueless scrubs. If it's anything better than that, I'll be pleasantly surprised and take it as a sign of growth.

I think that the lakers have not been taking this season seriously yet. To win this game, they are gonna need to step up their D. Pau needs to grab rebounds, be though, and be a presence in the paint. LO needs to grab all the rebounds he can and drive in everytime he gets the ball. Kobe needs to be KOBE BRYANT, meaning take great shots, get the to freethrow line, make good passes. The Killer B's need to come out and play like they were before the 0-3 streak, they had a spark last night but it fell flat in crunch time because Phil took them out. C'mon fellas lets end this streak!!! GO LAKERS!!!

Well at least now we know what the Lakers problem has been.

You're on game thread duty from now until the end of June.

Match ups to exploit: Kevin Martin on Ron Artest. Huge size difference. If Ron can gather himself properly in the post, could be a nice game for him. Kobe should feast on Battier’s fading athleticism. One of the few guys he can CONSISTENTLY out-quick at this point. I think Kobe took two years off Shane’s career during that seven game series in 2009.

Might be a rough one for Pau to start the halves off. Chuck Hayes usually does a pretty good job of bodying up people in the post. Look for jumpers and length on offensive rebounds against Hayes. He’ll have to wait for Brad Miller and Jordan Hill to get in the game to get his inside game going.

REALLY need to play active and tough defense on Courtney Lee and Chase Budinger coming off the bench. Those two could kill us if we just let them roam free. Physically is a must

Houston's a good matchup for Caracter. They have a lot of undersized bigs. Hope he gets more playing time tonight.
