great win, driven by our bench. love to see blake, barnes, and brown finish the game and play basically the whole fourth quarter. |
Im not as impressed with him as everyone else i guess. I thought he was allowed to play "defense" with his hands all night long. He pretty much was allowed to do what he wanted down low against Pau. Reaching over Pau's back to poke away entry passes. When Pau did recieve the ball he had two hands in his back every time, and leaned into him to the point where he was practically at a 45 degree angle some of the time. He went over the back on tons of rebounds for no call, and even got away with obvious shoves.
The way Noah and Gasol were officiated tonight was a joke IMO....the refs were the great equalizers tonight in that regard. I would judge neither Noah nor Gasol off of this game as it really wasnt indicative of reality at all. |

NBA TV - Webber and McHale are even talking about the Killer B's tonight. Comments on whether they are the best bench in basketball, especially when Drew comes back and LO teams up with them. |

Lol, that was one of the more entertaining commentaries in awhile on NBATV.
Webber "You want it sexy or straight?"
McHale was like W T F??? _________________ Before Lamar trade: Lakers-57 wins (2011)

i can't wait to see 'drew's minutes with our second unit. last year, when he or pau was playing with our bench, neither of them could even come close to sniffing a touch as we jacked up jumper after jumper. this bench, starting with blake, is very, very willing and able to get the ball into the big man. i would expect andrew to start putting up some career numbers after he gets back into game shape. |

We were fortunate to win this game. Thanks to shooting 40% from 3-point line. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Yes- I wouldn't want to count on it every night, but it was nice to have it tonight. They needed it. |

They can kill each other in the east. lol |
Chicago can win it, Thib knows how to set up defense vs. Boston and he knows how to crack Boston's D. That's a scary series for Boston I think. |
Good point about Thibs. |

Sorry it took so long to respond.... I've still got Fox West up online, and saw what I was missing while watching the the NBA TV postgame show. |

There was no fortune in the way the Lakers won tonight. These weren't prayer 3s they were throwing in...that would have been luck. Have some faith in your team. _________________ The killer in me is the killer in you! |

The Killer B's did it again
the Brown mamba was on fire again today
Pau was under par and Kobe could of played better but yet again the bench stepped up in the 4th with big threes. |
