PHX Home Opener. Going to be high scoring, nice early test despite their changes. |

Suns play tonight at Utah so this game will be a back to back game for the Suns. Lakers will be prepared and rested. It is the home opener for the Suns but no more Amare Stoudemire. I feel pretty confident the Lakers should win this game. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Who is going to be the main pick n roll for Nash - Turkoglu? Warrick? Lopez?
As long as our bigs stay out of foul trouble, we'll be fine. _________________ "Kobe Bryant is the best player in the world and is basically unstoppable when his game is on" - Barack Obama

League pass broadband won't work since this is a nationally televised game (unless their policy changed this season). Good thing it's on ESPN3.com though. |

Keep Nash under control and stay glued to Frye and Dudley on the perimeter and it should be an easy victory. |

I wouldn't be surprised if we met this Suns team in the WCF.
Nash has a habit of making role players look like allstars. He did that in 2006 when Phoenix nearly made the Finals.
This time if they make it to the WCF they'll get swept. _________________

I think they will struggle to even make the playoffs this year. They have a very weak frontline and Stoudemire is a big loss to that team. Nash is no spring chicken, he going to be 37 years old. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Lakers are going to dominate. I hope I can catch the game, though.
I might be passed out from the painkillers from my surgery in 18 hours.. |

Code: | Luke Walton (strained hamstring) did not travel with the team and will not play Friday against Phoenix.Ratliff (sore knee) is questionable. |

Well if Theo doesn't play then Pau will have to play 40+ minutes.
No problem he is a rare big that can play aton of minutes. _________________

He might have too. When Pau comes out of the game who plays Center? Caracter? I understand one of the plans for this game is to use Ron and/or Matt at the Power Forward position. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Well we are playing a very undersized team so Character should be okay for 5-10 minutes at center. _________________

Thanks!! No you are completely right!! I could never figure out NBALP blackout rules.. luckily i live in the bay area so NBALP-BB works for me to watch laker games NOT on national tv (unless they play warriors, in which case i'm at the arena anyway). _________________ Starting Lakers Dynasty6.0! Go Lakers! To match up with Suns, a small-ball team, let's get out our new weapon Ebank to fight. |

I hope our starting unit can shoot ABOVE 40 percent this time, and here's hoping Blake, Barnes and Brown can play effectively just as they did Game 1. If so, this will be a lot of fun, and if the Lakers can get a margin I'd hope we see Ebanks this time! |

Dang, Theo already with a sore knee? In hind sight, probably would've been better to keep Mbenga instead of signing Theo. They're basically the same type of player, shot blocker, with no offensive game. Only Mbenga is much younger and healthier. _________________ Ringo "You retired too?"

I hope you're right, I have a bad feeling that the suns fast tempo will test the Lakers stamina early. This will be alot closer than you think |

He's probably not even gonna miss the game. Even if he does Pau can surely handle big minutes.
Theo still is a much better player than DJ who is garbage. _________________

Except that DJ is a bit trigger-happy at times. |
