He's not raw, raw = unskilled, and he's definitely got skills. Caracter just needs to adjust to the way NBA games are called, as many rookies do..

Caracter definitely has an issue with Kwame hands. He should have had that rebound.

| Caracter also has really bad hands. I didn't see that in his scouting report, but he fumbles a lot of passes and rebounds. Thought it was an anamoly after the 1st game, but I've seen it in every game thus far. |

That's not how the NBA has been using the definition of raw. Kobe was the most skilled player West ever worked out, but he was raw, meaning he didn't know how to properly utilize his skills in the highest level yet. He looked like Air Jordan at the summer league, but not so much in real NBA games. You ever hear of the saying, "He's just going on raw talent?" Caracter at 58 is definitely raw. |
