i think that where ron is concerned, "execute" may have a completely different meaning than what kobe is talking about...

Several of the players are also freakin injured. That's why they need the rest.

Aren't you the same guy who said the Lakers would win in 4 AFTER OKC won a game? Why don't you take your own advice and retire immediately?

Not on my watch, they can't. We'll bring out the big guns in game 7 if it comes to that.

Easily? No team in history has come back after being down 0-3 in a series.

Yep.

Toying around is stupid. You end things as soon as you can. As Kobe pointed out, bad things can happen in those "extra" games.

Just get it done tonight and spend the rest of the week letting the aches and pains heal a bit and focus on preparing for the next team.

It has nothing to do with age. People have been banging along all season, and even more so in the post. It's about giving people nagging aches get a break.

Even Kobe discussed how the extra day of not having to play at game speed helped his legs.

5 million dollars or one extra game while risking injuries that will end our chances?

Pretty easy choice IMO.

If you're afraid of injuries, get a dog.

Seriously, this is the NBA, it's not a granny league. If anyone is scared they're gonna get injured, stay home or retire. Or they should be at the gym making their bodies in tip-top shape.

No Lakers should be scared of an injury, if they are they need to retire ASAP.

Yeah.. that's why teams get all those practices this time of the year right? Like they practice everyday, or they won't be tip-top shape right?

Officiating Crew: Danny Crawford, Bill Kennedy, and Tom Washington.

Solid crew. No excuses tonight. Lakers need to take care of business.

we need to finish off the jazz. if we lose tonight, they might reel off 2 more in a row, forcing a game 7

we need to play with intensity and fire

we HAVE to win tonight, otherwise we run the risk of a Game 7 and choking the playoffs away

I'm sorry but I'm not buying it. A slight majority of teams that have gone up 3-0 have gone on to lose the 4th game. As we all know, NONE of these teams have gone on to blow the series. Btw, why wouldn't you be confident in the lakers winning game 5 at home?
